Redbrick Properties has provided me with really good service. Harry went above and beyond to match me with the right property and a great landlord. After an initial viewing of a different property, I outlined a bit clearer what I was looking for and was matched on the day with a place that was an excellent find. Hats off to Redbrick and their great staff.

This property on Cross Cliff Road is a rare find--period building (one of the oldest in this part of Leeds), easy access to local areas (via ginnels to Headingley via Meanwood Ridge or across Hyde Park to Uni & City Centre). Delightful private garden, great sized kitchen with pantry (which we use as a computer room!), 2 bedrooms. Friendly & quiet LS6 neighbourhood.

QUALITY DROP AFTER START OF TENANCY. Redbrick properties seemed very helpful and had excellent service while initially looking for houses as new clients. After the contract was agreed and we moved in however, there have been many issues, primarily with communication, but also with property maintenance. Issues have been left unresolved for months. I cannot recommend Redbrick after our experience. - This was my initial review for contrast: (Staff super helpful and supportive, had a great experience and was able to get set up with a property with ease, despite being a student with no prior experience. Joy and Harry were really great :D Would definitely recommend!)

My friends and I have been looking for a home for our final year of university and honestly, Joy Gray, could not have helped us more! From as soon as I put in an enquiry on a property she contacted me and helped us with all the extra details we needed. Within one day we found the perfect house, Joy had helped us through it all with consistent updates and contact as well as just being reassuring, helpful and just lovely!
She has helped us throughout the week with sorting our viewing with Harry and talking us through the application process and making us feel at ease about it all. AND she did all of this while being home due to COVID, an utter hero, cannot wait to be with Redbrick next year now :

Redbrick Properties have been fantastic at helping me find a flat to rent. They respond quickly to any queries or questions you have - and are very professional. In particular, Ed has been a great help whilst trying to sort a recent issue with the property. I'd highly recommend choosing Redbrick Properties.

We enquired about this property a few days ago and were able to get a viewing right away. Unlike other agencies I have contacted, Redbrick responded quickly and efficiently. Milo has been very helpful and kept us up to date with any information and kept us in the loop. The property is of a very high standard too and we are super excited to move in!

From day one, Redbrick have let us down. I tried to move into our house four days after the contract began (July 2012), but they refused to give me my keys, because one of my flatmates had not signed one document. I had given everything they needed from me and had paid three months rent as well as my deposit at this point, but because of them, I was stuck in the middle of Leeds with a large suitcase and nowhere to sleep. Thankfully my friend let me stay at her house for the night.
Throughout the year we noticed that there was little communication between the people that worked at Redbrick. We would email one person something, and that person wouldn't tell anyone else. They would never know when property viewings would occur, and any messages or queries were never answered or passed on. They would also send round maintenance people without prior warning, and rarely told us if someone would be coming over.
We had a large mold issue in three of the bedrooms, and despite us calling them multiple times about this problem, which was beginning to affect my friend's health, it took 6 months for them to do anything about it. When we moved out, we left the flat spotless, and in a cleaner condition than when we found it. The contract stated that we had to leave the place in the same state as when we had moved in, which was frankly dirty. However, they charged each one of us a J32 cleaning bill (there were four of us), because the house was dirty, which was a lie. After two months of disputing this, we gave up, as they became rude and personally insulted one of my flatmates.
