Stone house are brill when it comes to maintenance reports, every time we have an issue with the house it's always resolved really quickly Over the last couple of days we've had one of your decorators come and do up the house for us, want to say his name is paul? he had green hair! just a review to say how lovely and friendly he was to everyone in the house. Genuinely such a lovely man and deserves a huge thank you from all of us at 22 Hessle view :))

Moved into an apartment with multiple issues. One phone call to Stonehouse and they arranged replacements, fixtures, etc. for all within a matter of days. Very responsive and very nice staff in the Leeds office!

I have used Stonehouse properties since 2010 for a couple of properties and the team and their business standards are simply flawless. From checking the finest of detail for a landlord to looking after the tenants best interests all areas are covered. I would highly recommend anyone to put their faith and trust in Stonehouse hands, you will be guided and offered a bespoke service to meet your requirements.

'Old school company'. Overall tenancy was okay, landlord was not that responsive but repairs etc were sorted out eventually. Unfortunately it has taken us nearly five weeks to receive our deposits back. Their excuse being that one of their subcontractors had Covid and does not have access to a computer, therefore being unable to hand in the invoice for 'rubbish removal' (I.e. the rubbish we left by the bins for the bin men).

Effectively we waited five weeks to receive the invoice below. I find it hard to believe the subcontractor did not have access to a mobile device, laptop or a post box, seemingly a poor excuse.

My boyfriend and I have rented from Stonehouse for a number of years. We are incredibly happy with the service we have received, any issues that have arisen over the past years have been dealt with quickly by the friendly office staff and contractors. Would recommend.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness, Value Do not rent with this agency. Avoid signing with these people they will leave you with no money and do anything to charge you more for damage fee for no reason. They will charge the share as a whole which I don't think is fair as living with strangers is quite hard as they don't like to clean up after themselves.

This company have been completely useless, they have provided absolutely minimal furniture in a, supposed, fully furnished house. They are rude and have zero willingness to help. They are exploiting students and Taking advantage of their vulnerability, especially during the current pandemic. Stonehouse have not provided a dining table, and told us to sit on the floor and eat off the coffee table (hunched over).

There lack of authority to do anything has left us in a position to have to buy a lot more furniture for a "fully furnished home". Even though they are charging us an extortionate amount of money for the property, already. I have Lived in Leeds for many years, however, I have never experienced such poor customer service.

I have been with Stonehouse for around 5 or 6 years and they have been my estate agents since I was in university until now. I always stuck with Stonehouse despite the many moves we made throughout the years because they were always very helpful, understanding, co-operative when issues arose (like tenants leaving etc), and they are generally very pleasant to deal with.

I have had to move out mid contract due to covid and loss of employment for my partner and I, and they have been very understanding and supportive, which frankly was a relief as I knew that with many estate agents, we would be stuck in a years contract unable to pay. They also always send out people for repairs very soon after the issue is reported on their online portal (which is very handy).

Any concerns about my property that I have had, have been swiftly resolved and replaced if necessary. All in all it has been great and I have loved all our properties from our big 6 bedroom house with my uni friends to my lovely 1 bed shared by my partner and I. This is an excellent agency, I have rent with them for two periods and they were always very prompt to solve any problem. The staff is also great, always nice and friendly. I would definitely recomend it, specially for international students, they make things very easy for us. And plus they don't charge you with an excessive amount of fee and deposit. And no problems to get back our deposit.

Stonehouse Properties have been a really great to rent from. They've dealt with everything quickly and efficiently, including repairs and the move in and out process. They returned my deposit within a matter of hours and I can genuinely say that the team there are exceptionally helpful and have been a pleasure to deal with. When signing a property with Stonehouse, they seem pleasant enough and willing to do any work that needs doing. I've been renting with them for two years and there are still things that are in the contract have not been done. There is poor communication between the estate agent and the landlord and you often have to call multiple times just for them to sort something fairly straightforward out.

When they eventually get around to sorting out any problems with the property, they are always bodge jobs and you can guarantee that you will be calling them again in a few months for the same problem. They will also do everything they can to chalk problems up to "tenant misuse" so they don't have to spend their own pennies. They give no notice as to when they will come to the property and on a number of occasions we have found the landlord snooping around the house and taking photographs.

Obviously planning ahead on what he will buy with our deposits. Bear in mind it was written into our contract there would be no surprise inspections. I would recommend staying as far away from Stonehouse properties as physically possible. They have no respect for their tenants and milk us for every penny they can.
