I rented a property managed by Parkes & Co for about 6 years with my main point of contact being Richard. I cannot fault the service we had from them during our stay. Any issues were addressed immediately and it was the norm for repairmen of various trades to visit us the following day after reporting an issue. They were always friendly and assuring and their level of service always made us feel well looked after right up to and including the end of tenancy administration. If the future brings us back into their care I won't have any reservations and recommend the company to anyone looking to rent or have property managed. Thanks all! :

I have only been renting a property from Parkes & Co for several months but felt compelled to write a review as I have received such a great service from them, particularly Richard. They have been very professional, personal, and very responsive to all my requests. I would highly recommend.

I've rented from Parkes and Co Otley for nearly three years. I cannot fault them. Absolutely lovely letting agency, so friendly and responsive. Had a lovely tenancy in Pool and will miss it a lot. Couldn't recommend them enough.

I rented a property for approx two years. The office was always responsive, and quickly resolved any issue e.g. plumbing. The maintenance man they use is great. It's mainly been Gillian who I have communicated with, although I have spoken with others - they have been great, but especially Gillian. My deposit was returned in full at the end of the tenancy.

Unprofessional and discriminatory, especially Richard. Would not use nor recommend, many other better estate agents in the area. Despite the reply from Parkes and Co, me and my partner have had multiple dealings with them and many other estate agents and these are by far the worst we have ever had to deal with.

Parkes and co have managed my property for over three years now. Living abroad it is vital for me to be able to put my trust in a company to look after my home, and that is certainly the case here. Richard has been completely dependable to resolve any issue. When accidental damage lead to an insurance claim, Richard was excellent, liaising with myself, the tenants, insurance companies and contractors to ensure the properly was fully repaired swiftly and no lasting damage occurred.

Moreover Richard regularly visited the property to ensure the work was carried out to the highest standards, and this has been the case on other minor wear and tear jobs over the years. I could not be more impressed with their service and would recommend them highly to any property owner or tenant.

As an 'accidental' landlord of a property very close to our own we feel very lucky to have Gillian from Parkes & Co guiding us through the process of finding a tenant who is also going to be a neighbour. From advice about the best way to present the property, excellent recommendations for tradespeople and first rate communications throughout, Parkes & Co's service has been exemplary. Gillian immediately understood our requirements and was able to select the right tenants very quickly.

With great attention to detail and friendly, prompt email and telephone communication, Gillian took the stress out of the whole process of finding a new, and hopefully long-term neighbour. We manage the property ourselves but I know that I can always call for advice when needed. Highly recommended.

I have had the most efficient, professional, caring and responsive service from Parkes Otley. They looked after me every step of the way, we're extremely quick to sort any problems out with the property (which was a lovely property by the way). As a new tenant to the area I have found the team at Parkes helpful, friendly, efficient, professional and really thorough. They were more than happy to arrange viewings around my hectic schedule and have been really helpful especially given I have cats and not all landlords are comfortable with that. Can't fault the team at all and I would definitely contact them first if I were looking to move again. Thanks

I believe this Estate Agent needs to take a good hard look at its self and think about how it conducts its business. The service I received was beyond poor, completely unprofessional and I would not feel comfortable to recommend this agency to anyone. I hope as a local, small company, it can take some lessons from how it has delivered service and improve its self to become a reputable company, but at the moment I would certainly not do business with them.

If you are a landlord I would think twice before registering your property with them, and if you are a tenant I would make sure you detail everything when you move in including taking pictures and I would also make sure you are there when the exit inventory is conducted by the Estate Agent as certain things will suddenly appear after you have moved from the property. If I could give zero stars I would and I hope that the team there take some note of this and improve the service they provide to Landlords and Tenants.

During our tenancy Parks and Co was helpful however as soon as we came in dispute with the landlord we found them very unhelpful, uninterested and very very unprofessional (one of their member of staff called us liars when disputing something with them in a calm and reasonable manner.) Not how we would expect to be treated at all. Poor customer service and highly unprofessional. I would never recommend them to anyone!
