Avoid at all costs for shared ownership. They discriminate against single applicants/owners. I was the first person viewing a shared ownership new build property on Saturday. Made a written offer just before I left the property. Hadn't heard anything by Tuesday, so rang them up to check and was told they were going through a list and prioritising people with children and it'd be unlikely they'd sell me a house, which isn't part of the shared ownership rules or legislation as far as I know. Wouldn't use again as the stress they cause isn't worth it. There's better estate agents out there.

Excellent Letting Agents My family and I rented through Elevation estate agents and we honestly did not regret our choice especially because we have had bad experiences in the past. They offered a supportive, friendly, responsive and professional service. We will definitely recommend their service. Thank you Babs and Voke

From start to finish Amy, James and Terry were absolutely brilliant. We sold our home on the first viewing! Terry kept up to date throughout and they both helped us with some of the difficult paperwork we received (Solicitors). James went out of his way to help us get the exchange through. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for the personal touch. Thank you Elevation and thank you James and Terry!

Amazing service right from the beginning. Valuation was justified with multiple examples of similar properties sold in the area. We were kept updated all along the way. Jason in particular was extremely helpful and really went above and beyond to help us secure our sale/purchase.

Aside from the initial positive impression from the sales/lettings team, everything quickly went downhill once the lease was signed. A simple task, such as adding another name to the lease, took several months as property managers either never responded or took a long time, and every time you try to give them a call, they'd be on "lunch break" and nowhere to be found. Similarly, it took them a couple of months and several chase-ups to fix our broken shower, along with other issues.

After the initial duration, they tried to raise our rent to an above-market rate despite our argument that there were several other available properties being marketed at lower prices. The quality of the check-in report was lacking, and resulted in us being deemed responsible for damages that were "suddenly found" as the check-out report was (of course) significantly more detailed and thorough.

It then took several weeks of back and forth before they agreed to approximately halved the value of the "damages" they claimed were done by us, which is truly telling. All in all, a terrible experience. Stay away.

Amazing customer service and helped me throughout my house purchase journey. I told Amy and Jamie what I was looking for and they found me the perfect property! Amy was very efficient and kept in contact with me throughout, letting me know regular house updates and also helped me with any paperwork I had to fill in (that I was unsure about!). Can't thank Elevation enough for helping me buy my dream home and making it so easy!

Great service from Terry and his team, very satisfied. It's the second time I've used Elevation and again very happy with the service. A few years again they sold my house, this time I bought through Elevations. They kept me informed and they were always understanding and professional. Most important, Jason found me a wonderful home, I'm very pleased.

A fantastic service from the Milton Keynes Elevation team. Within hours of asking them to put our property on the market, they had viewings in the diary. Through real hard work, they sold our property within days. They were also extremely responsive and proactive with updates on the sale, making sure all parties were kept in the loop and doing their part. Thanks to the team especially Amy, Jason and Sandy.

Elevation has got our proper sold within 2 days! Nathan was amazing and very responsive! He came across very friendly and helpful with everything we ever needed. Through the process Nathan was in contacted with us everyday to update us whereas other agency, we had to chase up!

Elevation were the estate agents for our recent purchase. From the offset they were very helpful and helped us to arrange a viewing the next working day. From then on, this continued. Paula was always in contact, keeping us up to date and chasing solicitors on our behalf to push through proceedings. This was through a combination of phone call and email which was nice to put a voice to a name!

Been a tenant of Thomas and co MK for 6.5 years, landlord just swapped to other agency this month however he'd had no rent from last months payment and now it seems my deposit has gone due to predating bonded scheme. They haven't paid me rent either, and now have seemingly stopped trading in both Northampton & MK. A solicitor who is a family friend advises that as well as lost rent, we landlords may also be liable to our tenants for any lost tenancy deposit. The solution, as I now understand, is to use an agent who is ARLA registered. All ARLA agents have their bank accounts checked on a regular basis and carry Client Money insurance which pays out to landlords if the agent does run off with the money.

Belvoir Lettings of Northampton (who are ARLA registered) have been very helpful in advising on tenancy issues and how best to manage oursleves out of this situation. I have moved my Northampton property to them, and have immediately noticed a step up in terms of professionalism. I guess we all learn the hard way.

Experienced problems with Thomas & Co. For about 18 months as a landlord, with payments being late, calls not returned etc. Etc. As a result of suspicions that they were on the verge of going bust I did not renew our management agreement at the end of the last contract. I am owed for 2 months rent and the tenant has not yet had his deposit back.

I would not use their services again, even if they remain in business however with staff being laid off and office closures I suspect they won't be in business much longer.

Am happy to team up with other owners to take the Partners to court.

We were caught out by this company. Although the tenants paid their rent on time Thomas & Co frequently withheld our payments. We wasted thousands of pounds on solicitors and unretrieved rent and deposit. Our house was thrashed and cost us over ten thousand pounds to refurbish. They have a policy of ignoring all calls and emails. The directors are only interested in themselves and not in providing good service to their clients. If you want a stress free and professionally managed letting agent I suggest you choose someone else.

Same as the other reviews there an absolute joke!!! They have not been passing on the rent to us instead keeping for themselves. This has been going on for months i've lost count of how many times i've rang their office in Milton Keynes trying to get hold of Paul Collins. They have been avoiding my calls for months so i've now had to take legal action against them serving a statutory bankruptcy demand to Paul the other partner Louisa is on long term sick with STRESS! LOL!

I meet Paul the other day to serve this notice to him and he was as nice pie quite happily excepted it and couldn't have more apologetic then proceeded to get into his flash merc with personalised plate and zoomed off!

Fingers crossed i'll get the thousands he owes us! I've even explained to him i am letting this house on behalf of my great aunt who is in care home with dementia and the rent pays her care fee's but its made no difference whats so ever i guess he's too busy buying champagne for young blondes in the flash bars in mk with her money!! Anyone reading never ever go any where this company they are a disgrace and should never be aloud to trade again if i had my way!

This is my second review and an up-date to warn people to steer clear of this (alleged) agency. My tenants left at the end of July with outstanding rental and despite haveing a guarantor on the agreement I have not received a penny. Please see below for original review. This agent has caused me so many problems I have had to let my tenant go and will now start again somewhere else.

For over a year I have had to make phone call after phone call, month after month to get my monthly payment from them. I am a professional not a career landlord and I have to say this is the most un-profession company and group of people I have ever had to deal with in any aspect of my life. Chasing money has been a constant worry and wasted so much of my time.

I took Thomas and Company as an agent to look after my interests and all they have done is look after their own by constantly withholding my money. Their performance has also caused the loss of a home to the young family who were in my property and paying their rent each month. The legal advice I was given by Trading Standards and private solicitor was to cease the agreement, which I have now done. However, I am still chasing my last months rent and waiting for promised return phone calls that never come.

What these companies do is not illegal but it is totally immoral the best thing we can do is to not use them and spread the word about the awful experience potential landlords will receive from this company. The man who does the accounts and who promises your money "will be in the bank today" is actually one of the owners of the company - he has a big incentive to hold onto your money in his bank account as long as possible.

I hope this review saves at least some people from the experience I have had with this so-called professional company.
