This is the only estate agents who have ever asked me to pay a week's worth of rent as a "holding fee" before even being allowed to view the property. After paying this, and the full deposit of 800, I ended up having to withdraw from the tenancy with someone ready to replace me. 3 weeks later and I still don't have my deposit back despite the new tenant having paid his 800 a week ago and being told I would get it back as soon as he did this.

I am told different things by different staff members, who sometimes even call me to say "sorry my colleague was mistaken". A couple of the staff come across as very impatient and I have received both a phone call and an email to ask me why I left this review, which made me feel very uncomfortable.

I rented a house from this estate agent, I am giving 4 stars instead of 5, due to confusion with when labourers are coming and going and who was in and out of the property, whilst Zoe was away. Zoe Slater was our dedicated property manager, she is easy to talk to, quick to act on things, polite and made improvements to the house as we requested. Would use Jacksons again.

We have collected our keys today for our new place and are super excited to move in! Zoe has been so wonderful and responsive with our move in. We have been looking for a while and are super relieved to find a beautiful flat which has everything we need. The property has been finished to a high standard by the landlord and we couldn't be more thankful to Jackson Property for arranging everything so quickly. I have been renting from Jackson Property Management for 2 years and I am really happy about their level of service and efficiency. Anytime I have a problem, I can get in touch easily and the matter gets resolved very quickly. The agents are very friendly, the maintenance team members very professional and tidy. Being a small, independent agency, they really care about their tenants and they are very approachable.

Only giving one star because there is no option for less, I never write reviews but this company is the worst housing company I've ever experienced. Honestly the most uncoordinated people I have ever rented with - absolutely no help with any issues and a lack of knowledge of anything going on and if you're a student don't even step foot in the door they will find any excuse to take your money from you.

Lack of contact, changing their figures for how much you owe them, raising rent to ridiculous amounts when the house is definitely not worth that. There's so many other companies out there who will actually look after you, avoid this company at all costs.

Don't trust the 1 star ratings. My friend and I moved to Bristol in early 2018 when we first came across Jackson's, we were shown round our now flat, by a member of the team. He was friendly, and more importantly, honest - which I find is a rarity with Estate Agents. Fast forward almost a year and my flatmate and I love the flat, both the location and size is perfect for us.

In terms of supporting service along that year, we have had maybe 2/3 issues with the flat that were instantly rectified by Jackson's within a day, we most recently had a water leak in our kitchen which we were both very stressed about, since it left us with no running water in the flat. By the time I got home the next day everything was sorted, and my stress alleviated. From my experience, the team at Jackson's are a group of hardworking, friendly individuals who are always happy to help, and are doing a great job. 5 stars.

My flatmates and I have been renting a flat in Clifton managed my Sophie and her team for two years. During this period, we received constant support regarding everything. Everyone working for the agency is always very kind and available. We did our part as tenants and we received our full deposit back. No one tried to trick us in anyway. And this is rare nowadays.

We left only because some of us had to leave Bristol. If I had to come back and needed a place to live in, I would certainly refer again to Jackson Property! Thank you Sophie, Thank you Jackson property! FLT3 58

I have only been with one other rental agency and the difference between the two is staggering, (previous agency was diabolical). I have not had any issues with Jackson thus far. There is regular maintenance of the flat and inspections (every six months or so, or upon request) with email notification beforehand to let you know what is going to happen and when.

When asking for maintenance/improvements it has been addressed and sorted quickly. Staff are friendly and very efficient with a quick response to any questions asked. As rental agencies go, this is one of the better ones I'd imagine, going from what I've heard from other students at university. All in all, a very good agency and reasonable admin fees.

Having read the other reviews I felt it necessary to write a review following my experience of Jackson Property Management, I had no problem when arranging the viewing as well as a further viewing before deciding to take the property. The application process was pretty straightforward and explained well. I received a phone call to advise me we had been referenced successfully and confirming the moving in date as well as providing the details for paying the deposit and signing the contract etc.

I felt a little anxious when the boiler stopped working a week or so in to the tenancy as I know these things can take a while but a plumber arrived the day I called the office a part needed replacing which I'm pleased to say was done in a couple of days. I would have no reason not to use Jackson Property and would not hesitate in using them again or recommending. The staff have always been polite and helpful in person or on the phone.
