I've rented from them for a couple years. They've always been very responsive, very respectful and very helpful (I remember back at the beginning of my tenancy during the start of the first covid lockdown they went the extra mile to help me get the keys and everything in the best conditions). Would recommend.

Our lease was initially managed by Hydes and when it was transferred to Bristol Residential Letting we were sorry to leave Hydes. in the event Bristol Res have been really top-notch and professional. Whenever we have had a problem, from kitchen appliances to fence panelling down through to overhanging neighbours trees needing pruning, Jamie Dutoit at Bristol Res has been really helpful and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend them, thanks Jamie.

My overall experience as a tenant has been very positive. The vast majority of the times I had an issue, communicating with the office and getting a resolution was a quick and easy process and the staff were quite helpful.

Impossible to get a hold of to discuss a property to rent. I've tried phones and email with absolutely no luck. Experience was great until after the viewing, where by the wrong information was handed on to the landlord and I've been unable to get in touch since.

I called about a flat for let I had spoken with a man called Ed he wasn't friendly or helpful on the phone at all. Me and my partner are looking for a flat to rent, till we find a property to buy. He then refused me a viewing because I don't earn enough, Even though my partner would be paying for the property as he is the main earner, has I explained on the phone. He then told me because I don't earn enough I cannot view the flat! I couldn't believe how unprofessional he was. Very disappointing :

We had Bristol Res as our letting agency for three years. From moving in to moving out, we found them excellent throughout. There were many occasions when we had problems and needed to get something fixed. They were always quick in responding to us and getting things fixed. Importantly, we never had to go out of the way to convince them about it. Bristol Res were also quite flexible in letting us pick a payment date of our choosing when we first signed the contract and moved in.

This is probably not a big deal but does make life easy when it comes to managing your finances. We have recently discovered that not all agencies are so forthcoming. Thanks to Jessica Watt, David Stanbury, Amy Sheppard and others at Bristol Res for making us feel so comfortable in reaching out to them whenever we wanted to. We have recently moved out and the process went smoothly. We have received our deposit back with reasonable deductions. Hope to have them as our letting agency again in future.

Useless. Didn't fix any issues with the flat I was renting so I had to fork out to do it myself. No help throughout the tenancy. Then took 3 months after I moved out to actually email about my deposit. To which they charged me a ridiculous amount, especially considering the flat was left in better condition than It was found. Cowboys trying to make a buck by leeching off society.

Have been living in a property managed by these guys for a couple of years - Any issues fixed very promptly and easy to get hold of. Big thanks to Jess for being a top Property manager - Highly recommend this company.

I have rented my flat in Clifton with Bristol Res since 2016. I have always found them to be v professional, extremely responsive to tenant queries and good value. Although my flat is currently not with Bristol Res (as it is in the process of being sold) they have kindly kept a key for me and recently went above and beyond to visit the property to inspect for water damage sustained during the recent storms. Jess Watt (legend) provided me with photos of the interior and made a series of recommendations to ensure the safety of the property. I couldn't thank her enough. In summary, a very professional Letting Agency - highly recommended.

Me and my boyfriend had a house viewing at one of the houses in Shirehampton. Emma Kelly was the one showing us round and couldn't have been more helpful if she tried! We brought our 8 month old baby with us to the viewing and she interacted with her aswell as showing us around the house. Emma was very bubbly and energetic aswell as very welcoming at the show around and showed great knowledge of the house.

She answered all of our questions with ease and gave us some great info. We've views properties before with different letting agencies but none of them were as friendly as her.

Renters beware. Whilst being a tenant they were extremely unresponsive and slow to fix anything. Very quick to reply when it was something in their interest. When vacating the property this was exarcerbated to the point of not replying to deposit return correspondance, even when calling the office. Delays in inspection once vacated to result in higher cleaning cost for the vacating tenants. As a whole very unprofessional and taking advantage. Being forced to go through the deposit protection agency due this negligence.

I'm not sure where these 5 stars are coming from, maybe the landlords. As for a tenant, although the staff are pleasant, the hassle to get a place secured was beyond imagination, the delays in confirmation of and signing contracts for changing tenants, the miscommunication and disorganisation of the company moving to a third party and basically doubling everyones admin.

Also taking months for stuff to be fixed in the house even after they requested general feedback on the property in the first place. You just need a web portal that actually handles most pf this, with all docs and signees done once and in one place. not that hard

The Bristol Residential Letting company were very helpful with helping us advertise our property and securing great and reliable tenants! Their service went above and beyond and I cannot be more appreciative of their hard work and their excellent services! A big thanks to Dan, David and Jessica!

I have used Bristol residential to rent out my property twice now and both time they have provided me with great tenants and fantastic service throughout the process. They are all friendly, professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will be using them for all my future rentals.

***LANDLORDS BEWARE*** If you're a landlord, consider other agencies with a higher standard of professionalism to represent you. This agency sadly seems to hire inexperienced property managers and agents who fail at basic timekeeping, are typically unresponsive and generally not pleasant to work with. Possible tenants cannot always rent via this agency due their inability to adopt 'new technology' such as online viewings. Consequently, you sadly end up not taking advantage of the lucrative 'London-exodus' currently taking place when using this agency. ***AVOID BRISTOL RESIDENTIAL LETTINGS CO***

The Bristol Residential Letting has been amazing in helping me rent my property, I have had no problems or issues from them, Any issues with my property they deal with excellently with permission from me! They conduct regular inspection visit to ensure that the property is kept up to scratch- which it has been! I have worked and rented with other companies in the past and the Bristol Residential Letting has been outstanding in comparison! Edmund is the most upbeat, helpful member of staff.

Always polite, very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. It has truly been a pleasure dealing with him. Even though I have been living in China for a few years, I feel at ease and thus I would highly recommend Bristol Residential Letting based on my experience.
