I am a landlord. My tenant find fee was increased substantially without notifying me and as it was wrong, no refund given since August 2019. My tenant was lied to regarding what was included in the furnished letting just to get her to sign the agreement. She could not get through to jonathon nor could I despite several tel calls and e mails. I would urge all landlords and tenants to avoid merchants at all costs.

Avoid at all costs.showed property agreed move in time on application documents sent which were including guarentor and 200 holding deposit booked van then merchants dropped off face if the earth no reply to calls of texts or emails am 400 out of pocket with van costs and holding deposit and taking legal advice appalling situation pls look elsewhere Have only put one star as it would not let me put none

Disgusting service, I had arranged a viewing with Jonathan Martin to which never appeared, didn't contact me as to why, didn't apologize. Made me wait 30 minutes and didn't pick up the phone. Completely unreasonable with timings, does not know how to use email. I have never met a more inconsiderate and rude person in my entire working life.
