Truly waste of time. You engage with them, go to the point of finalising deal and they leave you high and dry and pull out the deal because of absurd and nebulous reasons. I have wasted two months with them. They are not same anymore.

I would think before going with this company if you are a home seller. Update on 13/6/2020 after reading this agent's reply: we are key workers just relocated to this city and tried to find a more permanent base. So we are viewing a number of properties that would match either a medium term vs longer term use (and we have a wide budget range). They arranged 1 viewing and then asked me to remove the initial negative review immediately after.

Their initial reply to us basically suggested that we were at the end of the 8-week waiting list. We also have not had viewings of the other two properties arranged for us (after I refused the request to remove my initial review entirely). I will leave this up to the readers to decide why it might be. Re: derisory offer- the starting offer was 80K below asking pre-COVID prices, but this was not only due to COVID-19 and because of the work required on this property (damp marks on some walls and some dampness in the cellar), some discrepancies between the condition in person and the marketing photos and it was 10% below asking price.

We contacted the agent and planned to increase our offer, but was told that somebody had already made a higher offer that we were not willing to match. Unfortunately, the reply you can see below was, as usual, written in a deceptive fashion, stating the amount but not the percentage difference of the offer. Beware of this agent- there are a lot more important things in life rather than knowledge of the market.

Marketing skill vs integrity isn't always the same thing. Everything was done in a safe manner and we have followed your protocol (we were given 15 minutes only to make a judgement on the property, which we identified a couple of issues and reflected that on the offer price). We have worked hard to keep you safe- stay safe indeed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have just asked to view a couple of houses that suited out needs.

They just told us to think again as the houses were very different. One of them have been on the market for months. We have got all relevant components sorted (e.g. AIP, etc.) since the lock down. Disappointed by this agent- by the time they get around letting us view any of these houses, apparently "8-week viewing list" to go through, we might have found somewhere else! Update on 27/5/2020- after this review the agent was in touch and offered us viewings quickly.

I was asked to reconsider this review, as the agent thought it had been unfair. So I think it's fair to offer an update to confirm that they dealt with the complaint promptly when a bad review is in the public domain.

The whole experience of selling my property was dealt with very professionally by James and his team. My involvement was kept to the minimum as everything was managed on my behalf. The process was prompt and I felt every angle was covered. I felt the team were always there if I needed any further advice. More than happy to recommend their services.

I cannot recommend this agency strongly enough. All members of the team are willing to go the extra mile above and beyond what is expected. From a vendors point of view I found them to be always accessible and responsive to any queries I had. What impressed me most was the attention to detail after the offer was accepted to ensure that sale went through smoothly.

They liaised efficiently with the various parties and solicitors, thereby taking the stress away from the vendor. They made what can be such a daunting experience into a smooth process with constant support and advice. In short an estate agency that treats its clients with professionalism and integrity - that's certainly a rare thing in todays world.

I have dealt with several of the team at Robert Powell and they have all been super helpful and professional. James P was so supportive throughout the sale of my property, keeping me updated every step of the way and always offering advice. He also went on to help me find a rental property after the sale had completed. I woudn't hesitate to purchase/sell/rent through Robert Powell again, keep up the great work RP!

Recently sold my house with Robert Powell. James and his team were excellent from the very beginning of putting the house on the market through to completing the sale quickly and efficiently. Unlike most other estate agents it was clear that they weren't just after the commission but were there to support and guide me and ensure that the sale went through smoothly.

Excellent letting agency with very friendly and efficient staff. They helped me through all of the paperwork to secure my home. The agency now manage my tenancy and deal quickly with any issues. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Great at contacting you when it suits them - when you want to rent a property, when they want your deposit, when they want to show new tenants around the property you are still living in. No contact at all when you have left the property and want your deposit back despite admitting that the property has been checked and is in perfect condition. One month after leaving the property and still not returned the deposit. Would not recommend at all.

Such a fake behaviour. They just care about landlord's and careless when it comes to tenants! They delayed the return of my deposit by months and at the end they deducted almost 60% of the whole deposit and returned around 40% only. Then I decided to dispute and the deposit insurer decided to cancel most of the claims from Landlord and refunded me the rest. I don't recommend this agency at all. The worst experience I have ever had for renting a place.
