Fantastic Customer Service & support whilst going through the process of finding and securing our new rental apartment through Cottons. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to find either an ultra efficient property management company or a rental property.

Well what can I say, i watched the auction live today, and with a few minor connection problems I can only praise the auctioneers for their professionalism. It was wonderful to hear we are going to another venue for May's auction. Cottons always deliver A**** customer services, they have some of the most informative and friendly valuers. I look forward to attending the next auction

I have had the pleasure of working with Dan O'Malley from Cottons. I needed a valuation done on my home as part of the remortgaging process. From the outset, Dan always replied to my emails quickly. The valuations (I had to have three done due to issues with banks/solicitors) were always done within a couple of days of me contacting Dan and the valuation reports were completed and emailed to me the following day.

As well as being very efficient and thorough, Dan was always pleasant and warm in nature which was an added bonus. I will definitely recommend Dan to any family member or friend who needs a valuation.

Andrew and the team did an amazing job in selling our property at auction. The communication and process were clear and concise. Would recommend or use in the future.

Used Cottons when I lived in Brum, always had service second to none. So when I retired and sold my factory building, went to Cottons. Brilliant service, no aggro, sorted. Very Highly recommended.

I've been watching the new style online live auctions up and down the country over the past 12 months and cottons are so far behind the others! The processes are outdated- they demand money is deposited in their account prior to bidding and this has to be with them sometimes even when a legal pack hasn't been uploaded! Why not take card details securely like the other auction companies?

The cottons website is not just the worst auction website, it is probably the worse website I've been on period! It is actually unusable, so dated (like everything else they do). The staff on the phones are quite dismissive and sound fed up any time you ask a question! The auctioneer on the day is dreadful! Looks dishevelled and comes across angry and has what can only be described as a bed sheet hanging behind him!

No clever branding etc. It is quite clearly that cottons have not invested in their quality or processes and as a result have fallen to at behind the rest of the industry. The auctions are extremely poor quality.

I have just sold another property in Cottons December auction and it fetched a price way above my expectations. I am delighted with Andrew Barden and his staff who were exemplary from the initial valuation all the way through to a successful auction sale. I have recently experience awful service from Cottons by the estate agent showing me and my partner around a property. Its a shame I've got to leave a poor review but i feel people need to be aware of how we were treated. Between us we've seen plenty of estate agents and viewed plenty of properties but this experience is by far the worst we've both ever experienced.

Upon arrival to the property there was no 'hello'. just 'are you a first time buyer!? This is an investment property and need 20k spent on it. How are you to know what money we have? Once the property is sold, it is down to the new owner to decide what is to be done? We knew it was a property which would attract investors. we read the description.

We had to keep reiterating that we had funds and have connections with trade people to do such jobs. Myself and my partner have both dealt with many estate agents and never experienced anything like this. The replies we had to questions were very sarcastic. overall a very disappointing experience.

My first time of contacting Cottons Auctions today and i had the pleasure of speaking with Tina. She could not have been more helpful and gave me a clear picture of the auction process. It is nice to speak to somebody who takes a pride in there customer service. I also rang back later on and Tina was busy however i also spoke with Julie who was helpful. I will certainly use this service again.

From start to finish Cottons provided us with exceptional service. All the office staff I dealt with including Sharon Sheldon over the phone and by email, to the auctioneer Andrew Barden who is brilliant at what he does, very informative, professional and would always get back to us what ever the time. I would definitely recommend and use their services again.

Reaching an agreement to sell is obviously the most important thing when marketing a property, and in this respect Cottons were brilliant. Equally impressive was the service they offered throughout that process. The initial preparation of the details was professionally done with real knowledge, insight and understanding of what would work best. Following this and all the way through the negotiation process they dealt with the inevitable bumps in the road in a way that left us feeling we always knew what was happening.

The entire Cottons team were extremely responsive offering a solutions-focused approach that ensured the process kept moving and all parties reached the best possible outcome. A really first class service that I would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone selling their home. Thanks Cottons!
