Our rationale for this is quite simply that whilst there is no regulatory body which oversees the management of Residential Property Developments, we believe that our clients should be afforded the same quality, respect and professionalism which would have to be provided if such regulatory compliance were required.

Unresponsive, unhelpful and generally useless. Constant requests for additional money and honestly the most useless company I have ever come across. Zoe is non responsive to queries and things you would expect to take a few days end up taking a few months. Seriously disgusted with the company and would avoid at all costs.

Good place to stay. Price within budget. Fast responsive for any repair or fix that needed. Clean and quite place to stay. Cleanliness is scheduled everyweek. Thanks to Amy and Lee for being such a great person, they help me a lot through every process and setup! I recommend people to try their service. Lovely stay wihtin the months, no problem.

Absolutely disgusting company to have manage your property. In the space of 2 and a half years they have sent us bills asking for money for things that we don't require to have with them. Asking us to pay 500 for 'arrears' yet wont tell us what the breakdown for these apparently missed payments are. Calling us liars when there is a problem with any area in the apartment building that we bring to their attention.
They sent us a breakdown of the things that they manage as a company yet when these things need fixed or looked at they answer with 'well if you've done any damage thats your fault' instead of sending someone out first to look at the problem. Their office staff are rude and speak down to you when you ask them anything regarding charges but will not hesitate to send threatening letters to tenants within the property AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CAN.

I needed a short-term rent room and Amy had been very helpful and accommodating and always responded to my queries on time. The room was spacious and you get to choose what furniture you need in your room. You also get your own fridge with lock. There is also a shower especially for ladies only, which made it more convenient. The property is also in great location with the shops within walking distance.

My stay on thorndale has been great. It was easy to come view the property. The room was in great condition. I got help with any issues I had. If I stayed longer in Belfast I would definitely stayed in the room I rented. Amy who was looking over the property i was in, she was more then welcoming to the house and Belfast. Recommending it strongly.

I had been renting a room for well over year and had all the support and response I needed - Applied for the room on Friday & by Saturday after supplying all supporting documents I was moved in - There originally was a landlord on site but after a structure change Amy took lead - I had work done in my room when needed and always got a prompt response when in need - There was a cleaner once a week, heating up everyday, working Wifi, Your own Mini fridge with Key and washing machine - what more can I say with Amy in charge your in safe hands - I have all the confidence the charter House Team have everyone best interest at heart and will always attempt to resolve every issue fairly - For the rate they charge monthly you control the state of your room, there's only so much charter house can only control daily in regards of Communal areas, but this mess is always created by the people that live in - if I ever need accommodation there's only one place to contact & thats Charter House - Thanks Amy for making the experience spot on - Courtney

They were managing an apartment building I used to live in and the service was appallingly bad. The frontyard was always dirty, so that we regularly cleaned it ourselves and there were several issues with the rubbish bins. We complained to our landlady and she referred us to Charterhouse. When we called them for the first time they lied to us, telling us they were not responsible for our building. The second time they said they would get back to us, but of course that never happened.

They were the property management company in my rented apartment where I lived for 3 years. A truly horrific experience with them. The gates into the residential parking along with the constant mess of the communal bins were a regular pain in the side. When you couldn't drive out of your property and were regularly late for work, Zoe would normally snap back with some reply stating it was 'out of her control' with the overall feeling that she was doing you a favour in even answering the phone.
Even as I tried to be as polite as possible on the phone when the main building door latch broke so the door was constantly open, I was told it wasn't important and didn't require a 24hr repair. I gave up and began asking the rental company to contact them on my behalf when I had an issue and it was eventually sorted, never with much haste. Customer service? Must be joking. Professionalism? Don't count on it. Would avoid at all costs and don't bother contracting them as a landlord or owner.

Received a bill in the post for 117. When i went to pay online, that amount was over double and these additional items were not listed on my invoice. When i rang up to ask why this happened, I was not given a straight answer. The woman on the phone was more interested in getting money from me and setting up a payment plan even tho i explained i have the money to cover the 117 but not what they were looking to charge me.
I then asked when this bill needed to be paid and i was met with the response "now." I have also emailed a through a complaint which has been completely sandbagged. Update. got a response from the so called managing director kieran smyth over two weeks later. I had a brief email exchange and was no better off. Instead of answering any of my questions, i get an invite to his agm. in 5 weeks.
He must have other important matters to deal with rather than dealing with his paying customers. This man is ignorant and does not care how his staff speak to his customers After speaking with this man yesterday. Instead of listening to what i had to say, he decided to brand me a liar and endorses his staffs aggressive behaviour. Avoid this company, disgusting attitude with no zero interest with customer issues.
