The Baron Homes Corporation Ltd. was established in May 1994 although the principles of the company have been dealing in property for sometime prior to this. The formation of Baron Homes was to encompass development and residential letting and in the ensuing years the company has been active in both respects.

I wish there was a way to rate less than one star, because this would be what this company deserves. Terrible communication, except if they want money from you. Try to squeeze every pound possible from you, deposit was all kept even though the house was professionally deep cleaned and left in a better state than we got it. Absolute crooks. If you are a foreigner stay away

I can't deal with this agency anymore! They keep ignoring every email and phone calls. When I called and reported there is no hot water I have been told many people in this world take cold shower. Very rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Window blind is broken waiting over 3 weeks to be fixed. Reported mold at the apartment they keep saying it's a condensation. Non of the agents care.
You don't diserve even one star on this review! Two weeks later after reporting a problem the answer from agent was that my agent Julie is busy and she has nothing to say to me - unbelievable!

I worked for this company as a self employed painter and decorator for two months. At first Nazila (the owner of Baron Homes) seemed fair and accommodating. We would agree a price for the work required, we'd complete it, and be paid - all seemed fine. However, this was a false pretence. our last job where we completed the agreed work and where we were asked to work for 14 days straight as it was 'urgent', is where everything changed.
As usual, we agreed a price for the required work, but a few days in, Nazila came to see us and changed the scope of work. I explained that there would be an additional cost to which Nazila said she'd happily pay extra. Work continued and another 2 times Nazila came in and requested extra work to be done. We said this wouldn't be a problem but again stressed that there would be additional costs - she promised this would not be an issue.
During the work, Nazila's true colours started to show, she became rude, talked down to us, and kept demanding more work whilst continuously negotiating pricing! Her daughter even came and took photographs as 'evidence' of uncompleted work whilst we were half way through to say the work wasn't very good - but the work wasn't yet complete, a very strange and pointless exercise.
Despite this, as professionals we continued and completed the work to a high quality. Once the job was finished we sent the invoice and she refused to pay the full price and said we'd made 'mistakes' so would only pay half. The 'mistakes' were laughable; a dot of paint on the door hinge, paint on the floor that she'd said would be covered with new carpet so wouldn't be a problem.
She asked us to leave the old windows as they were going to be replaced, however as this couldn't be done for 6 months, we were then asked to paint them so they looked ok. We did this and then was told they weren't needed so payment was refused. When I justified our actions and explained how ridiculous her reasons were she became outraged and even called the police and lied saying I'd threaten her! (I most certainly had not and calmly spoke to the police who actually apologised that I was going through this with her!) Should anyone consider working with Baron Homes or Nazila, I would recommend steering very clear.

Baron Homes. Ah, Baron Homes. They love you when you try to rent from them, they abuse the system to extort your deposit at the end of the tenancy. They don't respond to emails, they don't take visitors unless it is to sign the contract. They lie, scam, and treat foreigners in particularly like they are not human. An ex-employee told me that they use derogatory terms for foreigners and often laugh about their appearance and accents behind their backs.
Top tip from me in relation to Baron Homes: if they agree an end of tenancy agreement time and date with you, make sure that you are present in the flat/house all day and night 24 hours either side of the inspection date and time, as they will arrive earlier, or at a different time, hoping that you are not in. They will mark the walls, stain carpets, soil appliances in a bid to show that you have damaged the property.
Video and time stamp everything prior to the inspection. I left one of their property in a better state than I originally rented it (repainted, deep carpet cleaning, full deep clean of all appliances). I made photo and video reference, in painful details at times, to ensure that they can't extort my deposit from me. Don't be bullied by these con artists! Know your rights and protect yourself!

STAY WAY! TERRIBLE! I feel digusted even giving this so called "agency" 1 star. As others have mentioned these people are crooks and will try to keep all your deposit and then some. Take pictures of everything at the beginning of your tenancy with timestamps because they will try and charge you for everything including existing damages! If you have a problem then good luck as their communication is just abysmal and only reach out to you when they need money. They love to take advantage of foreign students so beware if you are from an international country. AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Worst company ever. The property I was in was in constant disrepair water leaking, damp, mold and bedbugs. Had no help or support from Baron Homes in the 6 years I lived at Richmond Place. Owner off the company was rude and showed no interest in caring out maintenance. I was evicted illegally by them after launching an official Complaint with Brighton and Hove City Council resulting in me losing all off my property due to damp mold and bedbugs AVOIDED BARON HOMES AT ALL COSTS they will rip you off and screw you financially if your in emergency accommodation supplied by Baron Homes

Zero involvement during tenancy, will then try to grab your deposit. I acted as guarantor for a friend who rented from BaronHomes so I had the joy of experiencing Baron's approach to things. In short: Zero involvement during the tenancy, then try to hold onto the entire deposit for no reason whatsoever. For example, the flat suffered from a rat infestation which BH did nothing for ages until the tenants had to arrange for professionals to take care of it.
Regarding the deposit, suffice it to say they claimed the entire deposit for completely made up reasons and damages, we disputed everything and the arbitrator concluded in favor of the tenants, returning 90% of the deposit. So make sure to avoid. It really isn't worth the stress dealing with them. Just find another flat.

If you're a student for your sake and sanity AVOID this company. They will steal your deposit and will take advantage of you, being foreign and young like in our case. My first review who was viewed my many people and hopefully saved many from going through what I went through was taken down. We rented a flat with this company and it was so bad we had mushrooms growing on the walls due to mould.
And they took 6 months to 'fix' this issue and by fixing it, they just repainted the walls which resulted in mould growing back, and to top that, after we left they took 900 off our deposit due to the mould in the bathroom. This is not just a matter of something being disgusting, mould can cause serious respiratory issues and skin conditions, and they left us to live with it for half a year, ignoring our countless emails and phone calls.
The boiler kept breaking and we were left with no warm water to shower, and they would take days to fix it, we were not treated like humans. The boiler was in such a bad state that the electrician they sent told us we could have been electrocuted. And thank you Donna for that one time when two 19-year-old girls in a foreign country were locked outside of their house and you had a spare key to open the door for us and you told us you would charge us 200 just to come and open a door for us. Bless your good heart. There are countless examples of how cruel this company and its employees treated us, and would not wish it upon anyone to go through what we went through.
