I rented a house in February this year through this agency. Everything was fine. Today I just wanted to pay the rent to my landlord but I made a mistake and I sent the money to the bank account of Let Right. After confirming the transaction with my bank, I sent an email to Let Right Properties explaining the situation and asking them to transfer me the money back.
They answer me a couple hours later and informed me the money was sent back to my account. This was amazing! Usually I am carefully when I am doing online transactions, but today I was very stressed and tired. At the end of the day everything was solved and I could take a rest.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness The team initially were helpful but when we didn't go ahead stopped responding to emails for pending payments that they had reassured in an email for weeks. It's still open and you can't seem to get any response or even an email acknowledgment from their team.

We used sell right to sell our property recently and received excellent customer service from start to finish. They were very knowledgeable and ensured a quick sale of the Property with ease. They used supporting technology such as virtual viewing which was very beneficial in the current climate. We were kept well informed at every stage of the process and would definitely use them again. Highly recommend!

Alright, so this review has been edited because the agency called me back about the issues I had. I actually forgot about it until I received a call this morning. They told me the full details about why I hadn't been registered immediately for the council but it turns out that they did, in fact, send all the needed documents. They even offered to show me the evidence. Right, having lived in a Let Right house for a while now, here are my thoughts: For the positives, Let Right offered us a nice place for a decent price. Having lived here for a while now, I can safely say that the customer service is great.
If there was ever a problem, the landlord would come and fix it. We always get a notice when an inspection is about to occur and if there is a problem, it gets quickly sorted out. The reason why it is not a full five star review is that I kind of wish the process in the beginning was more straight forward but given that the agency fees covered the most of the first instalment of the rent, I can't really complain. Honestly, I did not expect them to offer us such a nice place for the amount of rent we are currently paying.
It is warm, comfortable and cheap in terms of utilities. My only gripe is the council tax but this is not the agency's fault. Overall, the fact that I got a call for the issue I previously had leads me to believe that the agency is taking criticism and is constantly trying to improve.

Renting a house from Let Right is like walking into a saloon in a spaghetti western; it's only a matter of time before you get into a confrontation with the local cowboys. If you ask any local student who has had the misfortune of doing business with Let Right, they will likely tell you some form of horror story that usually involves Let Right treating them like dirt and ignoring any complaint before attempting and, quite often, succeeding in swindling their tenants out of x-amount of money.
To save you the trouble of asking one yourself, I'll share my own horror story. In my second year of university, I foolishly rented a house off Let Right, along with three other friends. After receiving electrical shocks off the light switches and appliances in the house during our first week there, we were told by Let Right it was simply "just static" created from wearing rubber flip flops around the house.
After two more weeks of shocks, we had an electrician ripping up our floorboards and kindly informing us that the dodgy wiring made the house we were living in a "death trap". Flip flops, eh, Mr Let Right? To add insult to injury, should some form of fire have started during that time, at least we would have had a free cremation, as we soon discovered just a few weeks later that both of the fire extinguishers supplied to us were as empty as the Let Right customer care manual.
During that same tenancy, we also had a serious rat infestation that lasted months due to an improperly disconnected downstairs toilet that had not been blocked off, essentially creating a rat by-pass running from the sewer to our house. These are just a few of the highlights of my stay. If I were to list all the problems that occurred during my time with Let Right, this review would soon become a novel.
To call this so-called agency incompetent would be an insult to the incompetent. These con-artists need an entirely new word to be created in order to accurately describe their level of ineptitude. Worst of all, as long as students keep renting from them, these sorts of misdemeanours will undoubtedly continue to occur for the foreseeable future. If it was possible to give zero stars, I would have.
