We rented a property from St Moore's as students for the past year. As students we're used to being treated badly by letting agencies but this one was a pleasant surprise. There were a few issues with contract signing due to some mistakes but aside from this we had no issues. Flat had modern furnishing in a great area and the agency responded very quickly to any maintenance issues (we reported a minor mould issue and a guy came within an hour!).

We were naturally worried about being challenged for our deposit at the end as many agencies think they can take it from students but unlike other agencies St Moore's gave us our full deposit back with no issues. Super pleased and sad to have had to have moved out, would be happy to stay there for much longer!

Critical: Professionalism Was very fast to take my money away. After all information had been exchanged weeks before move, day before I was meant to move they went on to tell me they weren't happy with my details and said I couldn't move. Which left me homeless. Very unprofessional and will definitely not be using again. Stay clear!

Used their services for finding a house in southampton. A total disappointment. I was shown 2 houses. I reached the first property and waited and called the office to be told that the house was already gone and my phone was not reachable to be informed. Good excuse. For next house i again waited at the fixed spot in heavy rains and again called the office and was told that the agent was looking for me and i am not available.

Finally i spotted her in the car. Well the house was shown and i was told some weird rules. I had few questions which was answered quickly and was asked to contact the office for more details bcoz she was getting late. Bit rude and unfriendly. Well i was a prospective client and should have been attended better. Well to be honest i didn't liked the behaviour of the agents and weird rules that were explained. Good we didn't had a deal.

I have never been the type of person to take time out of my day to dwell on a negative but If it was possible to give negative stars I would, Very very poor customer service skills. They avoid dealing with any issues queries or questions you may have in person or on the phone at any point you need them they will always refer you too online reports which receive little to no attention and you will be chasing up the smallest of issues for an unreasonable amount of time or will deny ever receiving what you have sent any maintenance needed doing on a property takes ages to be done.

Or you will have to write to them and something that should be easy will become a long drawn out process. When you walk into the branch there is always a very negative atmosphere and in any other transaction or conversation I have had with the majority of the employees other than when I was signing my tenancy agreement I have been spoken to in a condescending manor.

It amazes me that anyone continues to work there I have never once seen any of the staff look like they want to be there. If at all possible I would recommend using any other provider I have never been treated so poorly as a customer so consistently by a company before If they are the only letting agent with the property you want or is in your price range then I understand because the property I am in for the mean time I'm very happy with but do not expect a lot from this middle man how they continue to have landlords working with them I am amazed they must be very cheap.

Rented a one bedroom flat under a 10 month lease. Service from the agency was fast and effective when the few problems there were did arrise. Staff are always friendly and cheerful. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

BEST LANDLORDS EVER! Don't be fooled by these other comments. I've been renting with StMoores for the last six years and If they had another property matching my new criteria needed I wouldn't be leaving there management! I can't thank them enough! Belinda specially has been amazing, kind and polite from start to finish. If I email her or the team she and they responds within the hour, if I've ever had any issues however big or small it's been fixed before I've finished the call or typing!

I'm gutted to be leaving them, if you look after there property, pay your rent on time and polite then you get that back! Smart professional and reasonably priced I wouldn't hesitate to re rent with them if another suitable property became available! Thankyou again for being the best!

Worst agency ever. Students do not fall for their trap of no fee student lets. Properties are in disrepair and they won't care if you don't have hot water running for two months. It's just not worth the hassle and stress for not paying 170. Belinda the manager is rude and devoid of any manners. Doesn't know how to do her job properly. Made so many mistakes claiming we hadn't paid rent, hadn't returned keys back. have had to correct her on many occasions.

Literally any excuse to try to hold on to the deposit as long as possible or charge extra fees. Certain level of racism and discrimination too towards ethnics. People commenting with good reviews are either biased reviews from friends or just don't know when they are being taken for a ride! Complete waste of 170.

AVOID THIS LETTING AGENCY! I rented a flat with them and since the very first moment I crossed their doors, they were rude, specially the manager Belinda. When visited the property we wanted to rent, she barely crossed a few words with us or gave any information. Once we decided to rent the property, problems started: As I was working part time and studying in the uni, she requested two deposits as a guarantee (although the salary of my partner was high enough to cover the expenses of three flats like that).

When we let her know that it might be better to rent the flat on his name to avoid more complications, she said that if they find any female stuff during the inspection, we will be in trouble so refused to rent the property unless we pay those two deposits. Also told us that we could not have guests staying at home. Furthermore, every time we had any issue she was completely useless and rude, she even said once that we were being so emotional because we answered back frustrated for her stupidity.

Not only did not provide any help or solution but she also made us responsible for every single issue in the house, showing no compassion at all. When we finally moved to another flat, I popped into the agency to give her the keys and once again, she was rude, helpless and sarcastic. I just asked a question and she gave me a sarcastic answer like I was being an idiot.

So I am not really surprised about the fact that every time I popped there I found different ladies working in there and they all looked so blue. I would not recommended this letting agency to anyone, at least until that woman learn some manners! I can only find a word to describe her, but I am going to be polite and keep it for myself.

My partner and I were facing a somewhat difficult and very last-minute move from another city (needing to secure a property within a couple of days). We dropped by St Moore's by chance the day we were attending some viewings in Southampton, not expecting much, and walked away with the process of signing a lease started. One thing I would like to note is that due to (I can only guess) our somewhat unusual circumstances, unconventional appearance and perhaps being a queer couple we have faced a lot of rudeness from many agencies over time, often being spoken down to and never receiving the service we were expecting (and willing to pay for).

Often we'd walk away from an agency made to feel like an inconvenience in the best scenario, and like downright criminals in the worst. Our previous 'successful' leasing experiences through agencies were, on the part of the agents', reluctant at best. None of this was the case at St Moore's and I cannot emphasise enough what a quick and pleasant experience they have made this.

The staff is always extremely polite, never condescending, very informative and quick to respond to queries and concerns (I would also like to note that I've observed them providing the same excellent customer service to other customers while in the agency). Any concerns we've had were addressed immediately - all in all it was an incredibly refreshing experience and we are happily settling into our new home. I would highly recommend St Moore's to others.
