We are members of ARLA, SAFE agents, The Property Ombudsmen and accredited to The National Approved Letting Scheme.

Landlords Guide to Inventories Report

Whether your property's furnished or unfurnished, it's in the interest of all parties for you as the landlord to provide an inventory (also known as a schedule of condition) when your tenants first move in. This is so that in the unfortunate event that you find your property damaged beyond fair wear and tear, you have proof that your tenants are responsible.

I had a wonderful experience with Open Doors. They are lovely, friendly ladies who truly care about you and want the best outcome for you. When we were going through the checks for a new house we hit a couple of road blocks, but Lizzie from Open Doors was really patient and efficient. Rented a property from open doors but when I first entered it after the key handover, the place was in a very dirty state, with huge stains on the carpet, brown build up in the toilets, dirty kitchen cupboards, unclean hob, and lights not working - open doors still maintains that the property had been cleaned professionally, even though I have pictures to prove otherwise. UPDATE: the property has now been cleaned professionally, so I have upgraded my review.

There are still some areas that require attention and the kitchen is quite outdated and worn off, but at least everything is clean now and I appreciate the support from open doors in this situation
