Terrible company, I rented an apartment in Truro through them and they try hard to steal peoples deposits and mistreat tentants on inspections, they don't care about tenants in this company, lots of clumsy mistakes they make which they don't take any acknowledgement for, dont expect apologies, staff are all very rude, its all about the landlord fees and money not the customer service, lucky for me i fought back and understood my rights. the director has a very bad reputation in this industry and is a well known shark amongst the higher end lettings & real estate companies, he is well known for mistreating people and misconduct in this field. Do not trust this company and if you are a landlord go to a proper reputable company.

Lovely until they get you in their snare and then they will unhelpful, blame you for any issues that go wrong with the property and then try and take your deposit. I ended up contacting the owner of the property and after a honest discussion she authorised a full refund and moved to another agency. The landlords have no idea how this company treats the tenants. Awful company

Terrible experience with 'Sharkquest'. They tried to take every penny of our deposit for historical damp in the property we were renting, by blaming said damp on us. We disputed with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme with proof from previous tenant that the property was prone to damp, they overturned and we got or full deposit back. Be cautious swimming in the sea with these Sharks.

Im so disgusted and feeling awful writing this. Just called them for a property, a lady called Harriet had no respect whatsoever she was extremely horrible to me and apparently she's the manager when asked to escalate the call she hung up and then emailed and when asked to escalate via email she kept sending horrible emails, avoid at any cost, absolutely shocking!

I've had nothing but positive experiences with this agency. After contacting the agency recently after the easing of COVID restrictions they were quick to market the property and now that it is rented out they have responded to all things that needed doing in a timely and professional manner including excellent customer service. I highly recommend them

I cannot recommend this company enough. Very professional and responsive with all queries involved. Made the rental process extremely easy particularly Harriet who I dealt with, she could not have been more helpful. As I am in agency myself I know this isn't always the case. Highly recommend.

Absolutely first class service! I've rented my property out through Homequest for over 10 years now. My property has always been well looked after, all tenants who have lived in my property have been fantastic and happy. There was a burst pipe over winter, Homequest dealt with it (even though it was a Sunday) A hassle free letting agent, thank you so much to the Homequest team!

Not a very professional company to deal with, had to pay extortionate fee to be released from lease IF they found anyone, within two days they had someone taking the tenancy from their list! Allowed new tenants access to the house without even asking us for a day, time etc. We were already moving out and the house was a mess, I was extremely embarrassed, it wasn't dirty, just messy! Said they phoned mobile and left message, nope, no message!

After we complained about them entering without permission the 'lady' that did our final handover was rude, pedantic, coffee stain on carpet was there before we moved in! We had already replaced the carpeting in the bathroom as it was disgusting and looked like it had 'tish' all over it! disgusting, I certainly did not want to even walk all over it! Also, despite repeated calls about the water pressure being minimal, not even enough to get a shower they finally got a plumber in to rectify the fault, fobbing us off for bloody days! I guess if you're a Ladlord they are great! Took us weeks to get our deposit back! Good luck, you'll need it!

When we moved into our house, the electricity meter was in debt by 8 pounds which we never got refunded despite asking. As our end of tenancy approached, they were arranging viewings that were extremely inconvenient even after designating fair times for them they were coming in every other day until we complained. When it came to moving out, they were so pedantic and unnecessary regarding the return of our deposit and deducted nearly half which I'm hearing is a regular occurrence with them.

It has now been 6 weeks since we left and we still haven't received our deposit back. Lovely house, nice to talk to but never (as with most estate agents) do they act on behalf of the tenant as well as the landlord. They're quick enough to take your money but not so quick to give it back.

I rented a large house in Falmouth through Homequest a little while ago. They were an extremely helpful and a very professional company. The personal, friendly service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. They arranged for carpets to be cleaned, and flooring in kitchen to be replaced, the cooker to be professionally cleaned (like new!) and a small plumbing problem was taken care of quickly, with no fuss.

I was very pleased that they handled everything in a smooth, professional way - the move in and eventually, the move out, was great - I had nothing to worry about. Thanks to all the staff who looked after everything in such an efficient manner! :)
