Upon arriving in Worthing from Manchester with all of my belongings in van, I was told despite having a move in date that I could not move in and had to stay in a B&B with all of my belongings. I was told I had to pay to have my guarantor notarised by a solicitor, the solicitor was embarrassed to take the money for this as he said it was completely out of the ordinary.
Finally moved in with a negative electricity reading on the meter to a flat overrun with bedbugs. Notified flatline of the pest infestation and they were not willing to do anything to help. The landlord moved agents halfway through my tenancy which I can completely understand. This was a harrowing and costly experience I hope nobody else has to go through.
