I have used Week2Week twice now for a long term work stay, both were a great experience. The team are very friendly and professional helping me find an apartment close to the project I'm working on. They are very approachable and have made me feel looked after without being intrusive. Both of my stays have been circa 6 months in a serviced apartment. Servicing is once a week giving the apartment a thorough clean. I've recommended these guys to everyone working on my project as the quality, price and service are very competitive. My parents stayed here over the Christmas holidays and had a wonderful time. The apartment was well equipped and very clean and is located in a safe neighbourhood close to the metro station. They will definitely stay here again

I absolutely loved my stay in the loft. It was so beautifully decorated and had everything that I needed. So central when visiting my daughter who lives in Jesmond and there is a Little Waitrose down the street and a Tesco Express around the corner as well as easy walking distance to the Metro. I was late coming in from my train so Sarah so kindly dropped off the keys at my daughters house for me. I would highly recommend it and I will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We stayed at Centralofts for 10 nights in August. Overall our stay was good, but there were some shortcomings with the apartment. From a positive point of view the booking process was simple and straightforward. The key delivery worked well. The apartment was as described in the marketing materials and the photos were accurate. The apartment is probably a 5 minute walk from the Central Station (main line and metro) and well situated in terms of getting into the city centre.

The building is secure with a code / key fob required for access, although we never saw the advertised concierge during our stay! We had no security concerns during our stay. The apartment block itself was generally quiet. There was a little bit of noise from the street, mainly late at night, but not enough to keep us from sleeping. Bird noise was more prevalent, and we did have a couple of disturbed nights with intruder alarms nearby sounding constantly - but that's totally out of anyone's control.

The bedroom is adequately sized with a double / queen bed, a small wardrobe and a small chest of drawers. There's a full length mirror but it's tucked away in the corner. There are two small bedside tables, each of which has a lamp, but only one lamp works as the cord for the second isn't long enough to reach the socket. One of the wall lights didn't work and needs the bulb replaced, but there's still plenty of light.

There's no dressing table and fitting one in the bedroom would be a challenge - it's not really big enough to take extra furniture! The bathroom is a decent size. There are small, travel-sized toiletries available, but only two toilet rolls were provided - not enough for a 10-night stay. There's only one set of towels provided per person so you need to factor in washing those if you're there for more than a couple of nights.

The kitchen and living space are combined. There's a small dining table in the kitchen with two small stools, but we preferred to sit at the sofa to eat and use the stools as small tables. There's a full-sized oven, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and microwave - but a real lack of utensils, cookware etc. There's four sets of crockery, cutlery, plates etc.

It's fine if you're not going to be cooking but for anything other than heating ready meals in the oven it's really not enough. We ended up making a salad in one of the larger pots as there was nothing else suitable! Just as in the bedroom, one of the lights in the living room had blown as had one of the lights in the fan hood over the oven. The kick-board running along the bottom of the cabinets in the kitchen also had a habit of falling down with a crash and needs to be fixed back in place.

There was only a single detergent capsule for the washing machine - again, not enough for anything other than a weekend stay. There were no dishwasher capsules either. A small number of tea and coffee sachets plus sugar were provided along with some milk. There were no condiments - not even salt or pepper. We ended up having to buy salt and pepper, tea bags, sugar, dishwasher tablets, cleaning products, bin bags, toilet paper, washing machine capsules etc.

These are all things that we'd expect to be provided, in sufficient quantity appropriate to the length of stay. That was the one major negative point relating to our stay. There's no vacuum cleaner, or mop and bucket etc. There's a very small dustpan and brush and a broom that has half the handle missing - so keeping the place clean and tidy was a bit of a challenge.

We also found the iron - tucked away on top of the water tank in the cupboard in the bathroom but there was no ironing board. However, W2W had a brand new one delivered to us within an hour or so of us asking for one - so top marks for that! In spite of how it sounds this is a nice apartment and we'd recommend it. We'd stay again. All of the shortcomings are things that can easily be fixed, at minimal cost. There were no showstoppers - just a lot of minor frustrations with what felt like penny-pinching!

I stayed in the Waterloo St apartment, in the centre. I was there in the national lockdown, and anyway had to self-isolate as coming from the US, but it was very comfortable place to be! Sara was great in trying to solve problems without being able to enter the apartment. Next time, and hopefully post-covid, I will certainly stay here again Jul-Aug 2021: Well, as stated above, I did stay here again!

Not quite as smooth this time but still recommend. Three issues: 1) I booked a fifth floor apartment with a balcony. When I arrived, I got a third floor without one, with no explanation until I asked. It would have been nice to be told, or even to get a slight discount. 2) Having missed a connection, I had to spend 10 hours at Heathrow before flying to Newcastle, and so arrived outside hours.

I followed the instructions and called to get the keys from the courier service (a taxi service). This took many calls and over 90 minutes, which felt much longer after the long delay at Heathrow. I was able to get into the lobby, but had to wait for the keys to get in my room. How about a combination lock on the mailbox so I could have retrieved the keys myself? (A set were in there but needed my key to open the box!) 3) The bathroom smelt a bit of mildew and the shower water pressure was very low.

I sprayed the bathroom and the smell got better. As an aside, I was a week too early to avoid quarantine, and the apartment became very small in those 5 days, but obviously nothing to do with week2week! Apart from the above, the place was very well furnished and comfortable, and I would have no hesitation in recommended it again. Next time I will try their Jesmond location as my family has moved there.

Excellent little apartment which is conveniently located near the centre. Surrounded by student accommodation which may be noisy but it shouldn't be an issue for most. Good idea to familiarise yourself with where to check-out as it may take you a few minutes if you're in a rush. Would happily stay again.

Great location and reasonable price, but the bed in the master suite was very saggy and uncomfortable, and the sofa also really uncomfortable. I came home with a flare up to my on-going back problems. Apart from that (and some issues with the wifi) we enjoyed our stay.

We've just got back from a weekend in Newcastle and stayed in the St James' View apartments - they were lovely!! All ensuite, clean and modern. Also the service given throughout the entire booking process was first class, always prompt replies and answered any questions. With a 2 year old on our trip I cant tell you how much easier you made our trip. Highly recommend; thank you!!
