We are the UK's leading provider of on-campus residential and academic accommodation infrastructure. With approximately 1,000 employees, since 1998 we have invested over 3bn in the UK higher education sector and provided homes to over 400,000 students. Our unique, long-term partnership approach enables our university partners to develop their estates whilst reinvesting in their core services of teaching and research.
Our partnerships empower our university partners by enabling them to make the most effective use of their assets, free up resources and improve student services. Given the long-term nature of our partnerships, we align the interests of all parties by sharing an appropriate balance of risk and reward.
It is the Parent Company of UPP Group Holdings Limited, trading as University Partnerships Programme (UPP). The Board of Directors ('the Board') of UPP REIT Holdings Limited ('the Company') recognises the importance of corporate governance and its contribution to promoting the long-term success of the Group.
At UPP, our long-term commitment to UK Higher Education is mirrored in our approach to ESG. Our business model is purposefully designed to help universities make more effective and efficient use of their estates and other physical assets; our partnerships generate value which universities can use to focus on core areas of provision such as teaching, research and the wider experience of students; which in turn enables them to be more effective and sustainable over the long term. At UPP we recognise that our business activities inevitably have an impact on natural capital.

I was a booked in as a visitor at reading university, me and my host had just walked into a friend's flat who had received a noise complaint, the two security guards asked to see everyone's student identification, my host explained that I was a visitor to the accommodation and that I was booked in. The security then told me that I must return home, I live around 4 hours away and I was intoxicated, still I was told to return home after explaining that I was booked in and unable to return home due to being unable to drive. UPP need to hire more competent security staff.
It is ridiculous that after explaining that I could not return home they still rather forcefully told me that I must leave, therefore requesting that I drive while I toxicated? Luckily I was able to find a place to stay so I wouldn't be staying on the street for the night but it is quite annoying that this student accommodation host/service was fabulously unhelpful in giving answers for basic questions we had.
