Services
We understand that letting your property, especially for the first time, can be a worrying experience and with this in mind our most important consideration is providing you the Landlord with the best possible service and the right tenant for your property. If you currently own or intend to purchase residential property for rental, you should consider engaging our property management service.
The first step is to contact us to provide brief details about yourself and about the accommodation you require. We then search our database for suitable properties for you to view. If not urgent, we log your details so that we can contact you as suitable properties become available. It is wise to start looking about a month before you wish to move, as the nicer properties are viewed and reserved quickly.

This is the worst Property Management Company that you will hire and don't tell me I never warned you. They are actually the reason why we sold our rental. The owner-employee (Tracey) does not return phone calls in a timely manner. Sometimes it would take up to 7 days or more and she always had excuses. She also never answers her phone personally but lets the assistant answer.
If you ask anything about what to do, she will not answer what you need but send you a huge pdf file so you can go read it yourself. This is true for any legislature that you ask her about as well. She also seems to be on the side of the renters rather than the one basically signing her paycheck. We were never informed that she would rent our home out to 5 non-related male individuals.
Not a single family household which the home is categorized as. When we refreshed the home, she made decisions that were not what we had agreed upon like the color of the walls. She seems to hire the most inexperienced and cheapest contractors thus speaking to the quality of the work after a refresh. Pay attention when you have them do the work because we saw a lot of work that we paid for that was not done, like the ceiling paint, unpainted exterior portions and dents on the walls.
Part of the wall was obviously hit by a car bumper from the garage and not leveled but they didn't see it even though it was so obvious. You will also need to know how to manage the property. I know it defeats the purpose but Dove was telling me that we pay one fee for water and sewer which is not correct because I was charged by the city based on 5 people and Dove did not cancel it with the city for months so we were getting charged the higher price with 5 people instead of zero. (I will change this review when she offers proof that they notified the city).
In short, this company does not care about you or your property so hire them at your own risk. If I hear one more thing from them, I will report them to the Better Business Bureau. Please check their reviews out on Yelp as well.

This is literally the WORST property management ever! Amber specifically is HORRIBLE. I do NOT recommend renting through this company. Absolutely trash. They have zero care about their tenants and safety of them. If I could give them zero stars I would but one star to just to let you all know DONT FREAKING RENT THROUGH THEM. And if you have the displeasure of speaking with Amber I'm so sorry, because she is horrible.

The worst property management in the Vancouver area. This business cares about only one thing, PROFIT. Any problem that arises will be left with inaction and unresolved. Their tenant loyalty is non-existing even if you've been doing business with them for 15+ years and paid your rent on time every month. If they dislike like you in any way they will make your life a living hell. Don't get involved with them because you will regret it.

The home we are renting while we look for another property to buy is in very good condition in a nice neighborhood. The application process was straightforward and efficient. Since moving in 6 months ago, we have requested minor repairs, such as a broken ice maker, via Dove's website maintenance request form. Service was scheduled quickly and the repairs were done right the first time.
We learned from our adult children's negative renting experiences that Dove Property is heads above many other companies. We feel fortunate to be renting a home that they manage.

Over the past 6 months, we have had a number of electrical, plumbing, and construction issues. While most of these situations were out of anyone's control, Dove Property Management's lack of coordination and communication has forced us to shoulder the responsibilities of the property manager. Dove not only expects us, the renters, to coordinate all the work with contractors, but we have often found that we are the middle man in communication.
Even though we aren't privy to necessary information about the scope of work, we have found ourselves the point person in communicating with contractors, explaining the jobs that need to be done, and coordinating and scheduling between multiple parties. Not only have we found ourselves shouldering additional responsibilities that we, as renters, should not face.
But the culmination of total work over the past 6 months has nearly equaled two complete work weeks (10 business days). Every single time, we were expected to be home. We are both frustrated and disappointed that Dove chooses not to send a company representative to oversee the work, and instead, expects renters to take personal leave to manage repairs.
Because this has been such a prevalent issue this year, causing undue stress on our own professional schedules, we have initiated multiple conversations with Dove about our expectations as renters, and the responsibilities of each party. Unfortunately, we have been unable to come to an agreement and were not able to shift some of these management responsibilities back to Dove. We continue to get calls without notice from contractors about scheduling work we were not aware of.

I've been using Dove property management for over two years now. My experience with them has exemplified what property management should be. The policies and practice of Dove is so thorough and transparent. I've never been surprised by hidden fees or unclear statements. I honestly forget that I own rental properties. Tracey has bent over backwards to ensure that not just my needs as an owner are met, but that my tenants have a safe clean space to call home. I would recommend Dove to anyone who wants an up front, honest, expert experience!

If you want a trouble-free experience renting your property, Dove is the company for you. They take care of everything and have a great on-line system for reconciling and reporting expenses and income. I never have trouble getting a hold of someone and love the fact that I can use email to get a near instant response. Do it yourself? Forget it! These folks have the service providers lined up to do anything needed at jobber prices. Highly recommended!

Great to deal with on move in, however once you're in the house things change. Upon move out it's clear that they either don't have due process to help and protect their tenants from owners, or act professionally and fairly to both parties. They have your deposit and they feel they're in control. Even with a very thorough and detailed pre-walk form, either the owner or Dove changes the language used to play "gotcha" and keep hundreds or even thousands of dollars to fix their home regardless of your diligence and hard work.
If anything, we improved the property we lived in while there, in numerous areas, as we always do in a rental, and they ignored that as well. I had a bad experience and saw no value in working with a property manager as opposed to working directly with a homeowner where you can have a direct relationship and good conversation. Don't believe the marketing and smiles, this is a shield for protecting a lazy or dishonest owner, and they're okay with it as long as they make their money as well.
