Greenpark is unreasonable with upgrade pricing and their standard materials do not meet conservative standards in 2022. This requires customers to upgrade where unexpected. It is always understood that retail upgrades with a builder will be inflated. Greenpark takes it to a whole new level.

This builder is anti-customer. Oh I had a very bad experience with them. They treat their customer as though it was a crime to buy from them and they hang around waiting for your slightest mistake to take your deposit. For requesting to move my closing date by just a few days they charged above $6000 as penalty. oh! I really felt very bad buying from this builder. If you like your peace of mind, please try other builders. Not this one.

I have dealt with many other builders and they have been amazing. But reading all these reviews I realize I am not the only one with a bitter experience. I regret not reading the reviews prior to my purchase. This builder informed us 1 day prior to installing our counter that the counter is unavailable and that we need to pick another. Suddenly they found a counter to install and that issue was avoided.

Then they failed to tell us that once only one person signs an initial agreement it is not advisable for two parties to initial the rest of the documents - a mistake for which they later charged us 1400 dollars to make the amendments to the title. We had to pay another 1400 to our own lawyer and caused delays in our closing. 3000 dollars later. Then they left an important paper related to our inspection on the kitchen counter and when we emailed and said there was nothing on the counter they had no reply.

This paper was also required to close the house and for us to express our concerns with the inspection prior to closing- a chance that was not given to us because there's was no paper. there were still people working in the house and had left right before we entered to inspect so it is likely they moved the paper into a kitchen cabinet which we found later when we moved in.

Apparently this practice was put into place for COVID-19. how hard is it to personally hand a piece of paper by waiting outside with a mask on and socially distancing. There are other essential workers working through COVID-19. Please brainstorm how to personally hand these important pieces of paper. it isn't rocket science. Lastly, they were quick to take our money on a mistake as mentioned above but did not respond to the hundreds of calls and emails regarding our missing cabinet doors which they claimed are not in supply and have no idea when they will become available.

How convenient when they miss something they can say "we don't know" and can ignore us but if we say that there are legal charges and processes. What if I said I will give you 2000 dollars later because there is not enough stock in my bank account. would that be okay with Greenpark?

The worse builder ever. I will never buy from them again. They imply huge penalties for cheque delay or any other minor violations. They have zero sympathy to your circumstances. They harassed us by sending default letters one by one, encreasing their legal fees with each time. Funny, but on closing day you have to pay for all their letters even if penalty was cancelled. Additionally, on closing day you have to pay for emails they sent, in the amount of 30 dol for document delivered electronically. It is a shame for the builder to charge the client for emails. Just shame. Don't buy from them.

Former employee. This place was an amazing place to work. Excellent organization and repair scheduling. The environment was friendly and the workers were compensated accordingly for travel and other duties. The quality of the homes were pretty good. Standard issues that come with a new construction housing. I enjoyed this place and wouldn't hesitate to purchase a Greenpark home anywhere.

Worst quality build I've seen in my life. Good thing we didn't buy the house and rented a newly built one for a year instead. Wavy drywall, uneven floors, the entire house is shaking now with the wind. Air vents were never cleaned after the install (even though there are stickers that say they were), there was foam and insulation inside which caused furnace tripping in winter on low inlet air flow.

Painting is uneven, with lots of runs and poor mudding/taping underneath. Stairs were clear coated after carpeting was installed, staining the carpet with it. Windows are crooked, begin to crack now as the house settles in and won't open/close properly anymore. Driveway pavement is too soft, not compacted properly, so, car jack stands will sink into the asphalt, even on a not-so-heavy car.

Newly built roads are rutted and it feels like you're driving in a ghetto chariot. All in, it probably costs them no more than $150K to build a house that they sell for $850K. Stay away!

Tradespeople who show up are friendly. However, be prepared to lose all your vacation days and sick leave in order to be home for all the different tradespeople who will need to come back to fix issues that never should have happened (e.g., damage reported on pre-delivery inspection takes multiple reports and phone calls to get fixed 9 months later), and because absolutely everything is subcontracted, you are dealing with multiple trades who can't come on the same day.

Before we bought we were told we could have a gas stove and hardwood floors. Nope. Untrue. They weren't running gas lines into the unit and we were told a month before we moved in that they could only do a floating floor. Now I'm calling and no one is answering.

Update: most of the issues are fixed now. Initial quality was bad, but the service team really took care of the defects, it's coming along and I m less concerned now. Update: 60 day in. Not single one additional issue is fixed. The "service" department is unreachable and they even left a panel of glass sitting at the balcony. Just accident waiting to happen. Complained to the builder no action was done. Update: at move in, majority of the problems are not fixed.

But the tradesperson are willing to fix and help with certain problem, and defer other to 30 day form. Understandable, will update again if and when all the Manley problem are fixed. Upping from one star to two PDI: I m horrified by the nightmare quality and pure lack of workmanship from this builder. Paint job was done so poorly throughout the wall, baseboard and doors, some were barely painted with exposed nails and bare primer everywhere. Muiltiple foot- long saw mark on the bathtub that looks like it is salvaged from the garbage room.

Simple things like the drain was not aligned with the sink. Crooked doors, cabinet everywhere. The list goes on and go on. This is the worst of brand new condos that I have seen in my life.

People are friendly but the company hires too many people at work. Poor work ethics. A very senior accountant highly recommended a lady come to work but she doesn't really know how to do her job, then this senior told her that she doesn't need to do it well, if people questions her about her performance, that person has to show her what's wrong and should show her how to fix it.

The corporate culture is that as long as everyone is friendly to each other and on the same pace, everyone is covered and safe. The new generation treats employees poorly, so people are not really care what the consequences of, anyway, the company has money. The new generation should learn how to respect people and then people will help him to grow his fortunate.
