If I could give Taylors Lettings a 0, I would. My fiance and are were tenants through Taylors Lettings for just under 2 years. During our tenancy we had little issues with Taylors, they weren't amazing but weren't awful. They did fix issues that we had and did respond. The reason for my 1 star rating is due to how Taylors treat their tenants when vacating properties and when dealing with the aftermath.

My fiance and I left the property in a good condition. We were happy to agree with a couple of small things that needed doing that were our responsibility such as a latch on a garden storage shed, replacing a lightbulb and smoke alarm battery. However, Taylors attempted to take 95% of our deposit for matters that we did not agree with. They stated we had left the property in poor condition and were responsible for the redecoration of the property.

This property needed redecoration when we first moved into it however, through out our tenancy nothing was done. They also attempted to charge us for a broken lightbulb fitting which was inside an extractor fan which I can assure we were not at fault for. Hilariously, the evidence they submitted was dated almost 4 weeks after we vacated the property and days after new tenants had moved in.

When my fiance visited Taylors Lettings to discuss the dispute, he was screamed at by Lee-Anne and spoken to in a manner I would describe as rude, aggressive and very unprofessional. She made it very clear she did not want to discuss our dispute, told my fiance that 'if we had left it in a clean condition then we wouldn't have this issue' and disregarded anything my fiance had to say.

She accused us of leaving the grass in the garden longer than it was given to us in, despite us hiring a gardener the week prior to leaving the property. Lee-Anne is extremely unprofessional, rude and ill mannered. How she is in her position amazes me. Robert was witness to this conversation but did not step in or add to it. We proceeded with the DPS and after deliberation from an adjudicator we were awarded most of our deposit back as we were not found at fault for most of the items Taylors were trying to charge us ridiculous amounts for. I would very much NOT recommend Taylors Lettings. They speak to their tenants like something on the bottom of their shoe.

We waited for 2 weeks to first try to call you, nobody ever is there to pick up, then you told us we were first on the list to see the flat when the landlord comes bk from holiday, today when you finally picked up the phone you tell us the flat went over the weekend! You're a joke not a letting agency! Never been so disappointed and wasted so much time on being mucked about. Congratulations, I'll officially make sure to tell everyone I know about how you treated us

Rang to arrange a viewing for a property 5 minutes from their office. Was booked in at 9.30am. I traveled 30 minutes to get the property and arrived to find no agent. Called the office and was told the viewing was at half 3 in the afternoon. No apology was made for the agents mistake. They booked me in at half 9 so clearly the agent made a mistake.

What she should have done is apologize for her mistake and then come to find me at the property as, like I said, their office is a 5 minute walk from the property I was waiting, at my appointed time, outside. I will not be looking at any property let through Taylor's lettings and will actively point my friends and family in other directions too. These people have no respect for other people's time.

Very poor service indeed. In response to your reply. I can at least say that your attitude is consistent in that you won't accept responsibility for your employees mistake. If I was told afternoon only on the phone I would have been there in the afternoon. No attempt to inform me of this was made. Your employee did not tell me and no email is in my account I've checked. Saying "I'm sorry BUT" is not an apology as we all know.

A professional agency with a very good personal approach to its clients. I was with them for several years for Lettings and during this time they were always helpful, and available for contact or discussions. They notified of and provided very reasonable property maintenance and arrangements. When needed, they provided sound recommendations, promptly helped to resolve any queries and would go the extra distance if in the client's interest.

Always been incredibly helpful and professional. By far one of the best estate agents in the Ashford area and will definitely be my first call over others. Robert and Lee-Anne have always been friendly and professional, always quick to answer any questions and to sort out any problems. Any deductions made from our deposit was always done fairly and transparently. I am using Taylors Lettings for a second time now as I cannot recommend highly enough.

I must commend Taylors Lettings on their professionalism and willingness to help. After moving here from another country they made our transition very easy and have answered in swift reply any and all the questions we have had. I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent in the Ashford area, they will go out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome.

Taylors Lettings were really helpful and proactive in helping us find a new home when we had limited time to do so. Robert and Lee-Anne both got the ball rolling quickly for us, and now we have moved into our fabulous new home! It can be hard to find estate agents who have the interests of both landlords and tenants at heart, but we definitely felt they did - thank you!

It is a tricky thing finding an agent you can trust to have your best interest, but time and time again I have been impressed by this company throughout the process. Mr Taylor himself has been generous with his time and responsive to any issues I have had as a new tenant, and I am happy to have found such a lovely flat through his firm.

Taylors lettings are an excellent lettings agency to deal with, Robert Taylor in particular is extremely efficient, effective and friendly in his role as property manager. He has sorted out any issues promptly and without any fuss, I am assured that my property is in good hands. Robert is always on the other end of the phone if any problems arise, all issues are dealt with ASAP. Thank you again to Robert and the team!
