I worked with Percy and scheduled an apartment tour in the evening. However, he notified me that he did not have the keys and could not access the apartment 9 minutes before the agreed-upon time of the tour, after I had already arrived and was waiting at the apartment. He then said he would try to contact the tenants to see if we could still see the apartment later that night, but he did not follow up and instead left me waiting without an update.

He also admitted this happens more often than it should and is a known issue. We left after 45+ minutes of waiting without an update and he did not follow up later or attempt to reschedule the tour. This occurred after 2 other agents from Urban Abodes failed to help schedule the same apartment tour in a timely manner. Overall, a very frustrating and unprofessional experience.

Lori Quint at Urban Abodes helped us with the leasing process for an apartment in Chicago, IL. They made the whole process very easy on our end, explaining every step. They responded very quickly and we had no big problems throughout the process. Overall I was very satisfied with the service and would recommend it to anyone looking for an Apartment!

The agent, Jackie, was so helpful in finding out next apartment! Her genuine excitement and interest in us finding what we wanted was comforting. She was very responsive. They had a great inventory of apartments so I knew I was getting a good selection.

After reading positive reviews, I was hopeful they could assist in my apartment search. I had a good first conversation with an agent. He took took down my info and said to give him a couple of hours to compile a list of apartment rentals that matched my search/ move in date and understood the urgency (needed to move by 5/31). I called him back later that day to ask about an available listing I saw online.

We had a quick conversation and again was told I would hear back. A few days passed and I sent a follow up text. I never heard back from this agent. I secured a rental on my own and as of today's review, there has still been no follow up or reply. I cannot recommend Urban Abodes.

Working with Mark at Urban Abodes was an absolute pleasure. He was able to find multiple apartments that met our very specific criteria, including the one we eventually applied for and got. The Urban Abodes team made the entire application process easy and worked within the constraints we had moving from out of town. I would definitely recommend working with them.

Gabriela and Urban Abodes helped us find a great apartment in Chicago that was not shown on the major rental websites, which in turn made for a much less hectic renting experience. Gabriela in particular was very helpful and responsive, working to our schedule, responding via text and call. Additionally, the application process was smooth and quick. If we are looking to rent again in the future, we will be sure to use Urban Abodes.

He was very quick to call me and give me details about the unit I wanted without me even seeing it---enough to where I applied without viewing the unit. Urban Abodes made renting an apartment a lot less stressful! Their responses were always very quick. Tim is who set us up with a tour of the unit and answered the absurd amount of questions we had following the tour. He was always available and everyone within the company were easy to get in touch with. We definitely recommend renting your next apartment through them!

It was a relatively simple process at a time when the Chicago Apartment market is heating up. Patricia was persistent with me and made me feel like I was worth her time. Many agencies in Chicago ignored my requests for applications and many agents ghosted me based on my out of state status (I live in Arizona, but am moving to Chicago). You can tell Urban Abodes actually cares about client satisfaction and not just about "The chase".

The apartment hunting process was 1 week with Urban Abodes from start to application being approved. I HIGHLY recommend inquiring more information about an apartment listed by Urban Abodes if you see one, and working with them.

We toured an apartment with Michael on Thursday afternoon, and by Saturday our applications had been accepted, leases signed, and all fees sorted out! The process was very smooth and transparent, and we were able to sign all the documents online and make several payments via Zelle which was very convenient. Michael also gave us the option to have a quick look over a similar lease before even applying for the apartment so we knew exactly what we were getting into.

Working with a company that is so on-top of sending out documents, and so quick to respond to emails, was incredibly reassuring and meant that we were never left waiting around unsure of what to do next. Amazingly, we were even contacting multiple different people at Urban Abodes who all knew what was going on with our apartment and application, which made us feel very well taken care of. We could not have hoped for a smoother experience from start to finish, and can't wait to move into our new place in June.

I had an excellent experience working with Urban Abodes! After finding my dream apartment, I applied and placed a partial deposit right away. When I got my lease and had some concerns, Gabriela and Devin worked quickly to answer my questions and make adjustments so that I was comfortable. My schedule was not very predictable, yet Gabriela was able to work around my times and set up a ton of viewings on different types of apartments. I had an amazing experience of working with Lori Quint. She was so helpful throughout the entire process. I ran into some bumps throughout the process and she was able to work with me and my situation and I was able to find a very cute apartment that worked with my budget. I am so pleased with the whole process. She was very friendly, patient, kind, and went above and beyond to work with me.

I had such an easy experience with UA! My leasing Agent Gabriela was awesome! I kept texting her all these units I wanted to see one my day off and she did not disappoint! We went everywhere in the neighborhood I selected and it came down to the very last unit of the afternoon! She listened to my needs and delivered! The entire process with UA was a breeze! Highly recommended!

I had an incredible customer service experience working with the team over at Urban Abodes. From start to finish they masterfully executed our plan to get me into a nice, affordable, and comfy apartment in my preferred neighborhood. Both Rebecca and Darien were incredible to work with and I definitely plan on using them again when navigating the process in the future. Will never use Urban Abodes again and I would never recommend them to anyone. They wasted my time and money! They were very misleading and will tell you what you want to hear to lure you in.

Ioannis deserves a shout out! He went above and beyond to help my partner and I find an amazing new place. He is knowledgeable about the neighborhoods, and considered what would work best for our little family. Sealed the deal with a video tour and we signed the next day. Can't thank him enough!

DO NOT RENT HERE. Urban Abodes is now REFUSING to give me my money back for my application because I left a BAD REVIEW for their TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. So because I warned all of you about their awful business, I'm out $210. The woman told me, "My manager told me the Yelp review damage is already done so we can't refund her." They are SCOUNDRELS and THIEVES. Learn from my mistake and go elsewhere. I'm seeking legal action and you don't want to have to go through what I am.

After two and a half years looking for the perfect apartment, Tara, found it for me! I needed a large enough bedroom where my king size bed wouldn't take up the entire room, a designated parking spot and would allow pets. What she found me was a 2 bedroom with a huge primary bedroom and a garage. Best part is it's only a 10 min drive to work! Tara was so sweet and kind. Listened to all of my desires and never made me feel pressured to sign a lease.

Terrible experience trying to rent an apartment for my college age son. $280 application fee was paid on a Tuesday and on Wednesday the calls for more and more cash started. I explained that the $280 was all I was paying until approved. They kept pushing for good faith money. I think $280 is enough of a show of good faith The staff mocked and bullied my son. Tried to get confidential information out of him. It was ridiculous and unprofessional. We pulled our application.

Working with Percy was one of the best experiences I had. He was responsive towards my questions/concerns and also flexible with my schedule. He did a phenomenal job helping me find a new apartment and am excited for my new lease. Didn't have the greatest experience when calling the office. Would be five stars if I didn't have a lackluster experience with their processing team.

I called their office to speak with someone for the processing team - called a second time shortly after my first call was directed and left on hold for over 5 min. I mentioned I was calling because the individual didn't pick up and when the person on the line was the individual, she was very short with me and rude.

Ryan Howard was an absolute delight to work with, as well as all of Urban Abodes. Talented, dedicated, caring, responsive group of people that work to match your each and every expectation. They exceeded every one of them. On top of that, the value of the apartment that Ryan selected for me perfectly catered to my needs and he worked tirelessly to keep the apartment for me while I worked to get approved and the entire office, including Melissa Harrington, Darien Walls, and staff were just above and beyond helpful. Would graciously recommend them. They will never not answer your calls, will work with and for you, and are again- just a delight. Thank you, Urban Abodes team!

The agent that I worked with (Rebecca) was extremely helpful in my search for the perfect apartment that met all my needs. She was determined to show me all of the listings around my area of interest, as to guarantee that I was making the best decision possible in terms of settling on a future home. The whole process moved super quick, which I appreciated and Rebecca was more than happy to make herself available at a time that worked best for me.

We chatted a bunch about the surrounding area and was even able to recommend a few of her favorite spots for food, drinks, massages, etc. to me. Dan assisted my sister with two tours, since we're shopping from out of town.
