Horrible experience. if i could give 0 stars i would. put an offer for a flat, secured it by paying a holding fee, was assured by the agent that the flat was mine, and i could move in by the 1st of September, he called yesterday afternoon (3 days to the move in date) and told me the flat was no longer available because the current tenant wanted to extend her lease, despite the fact i had been told that she had found another place, and that i had PAYED to SECURE this flat and had been explicitly told that the flat was mine. i am now 3 days to the end of my lease and have no place to stay because of this agency and their incompetence. they didn't even offer to help me out, or find a place for me to stay, so i will literally have to go live in a hotel until im able to find another accommodation. they haven't even refunded my holding fee money. a complete scam, please AVOID AT ALL COSTS. completely unprofessional and inconsiderate.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Absolutely waste of time. Waited days for a contract only to be completely ignored and called later to be informed that the flat isn't available anymore after I went through with all the procedures. Lack of professionalism or care whatsoever.

I rented property through Cubes for several years in London and they are one of the best agents I've worked with. All issues were sorted right away, they were always easy to contact and deal with, and they even rescued me once after I had locked myself out with no phone or shoes! I would highly recommend working with this team, whichever end of the property market you happen to be in.

We have had a terrible experience with Cubes Residential. We rented a flat through them for more than 3 years. We were very good tenants, we always paid our rent on time, and kept the property in a very good condition. We always alerted them when something needed repairs. We made sure that there was always a good level of communication between them and us.
Despite all of that, they have treated us like we were the worse tenants! At the beginning, they told us that the heating bill was included and then one year later we were told by the heating company to pay a super expensive bill. Cubes just forwarded the letter to us without a word of apology or explanation. They tried to charge us for simple repairs on the basis that it was our fault, but the worse happened when we left the flat a couple of weeks ago. Sam had asked us if we would be willing to sell some of our items to the new tenants.
We were quite busy but thought 'why not'. Sam came in on the day of our move and picked up the items for fear of us not honouring our deal (nice!) then accused us of being thieves when we didn't leave other items that the tenants apparently did not want (we left them in the corridor for other tenants as we didn't want to leave a mess). In the end, we offered to give the money back as we hadn't asked to do this in the first place and didn't want to be insulted/harassed. Anyway, the worst was to come when they sent us a quote following the checkout of nearly 1000 to cover the price of 'fair wear and tear' usage.
In all our years of renting in London, we've never had to pay any deposit back. We have now started a complaint process with the Property Ombudsman. So much needless aggravation. We have to say that we were very disappointed by the attitude of the branch manager, John and also by Sam who has talked to my wife and I very aggressively. They are not professional. To end on a positive note, however, we would like to thank Leon who was very helpful in some very difficult situations!

People have told me that Estate Agents can be a nightmare but Cubes residential were great! Very competent and helpful, made the process of putting forward an offer, getting acceptance and completing the referencing very easy. I think this company is light years ahead of the competition and highly recommend them. Lastly, a huge thank you to Sam and his team at Cubes residential.

I recently rented a property with Cubes and I was helped and assisted by Sam and John. The process has been very smooth and they really helped me a lot, since I was living in another city during the renting process. They were always available by phone and by email. I've viewed / had several properties over the years and met many property agents, but I must say these two guys stood out from the rest because of the personal and professional customers service and joy!
