Bad communication and customer service. I phoned twice asking to arrange and viewing 3 days ago they said they would send an email of the questionnaire, which I had already filled out once before. Received no email and had to email them myself today asking what is going on then said the flat had been taken and then make an excuse saying that I never turned up for a viewing of a different property weeks ago where I did in fact turn up, met a Belvoir staff member and viewed this property at Nicholson court. Very rude and disrespectful with priorities not focused on the customer's welfare and just basic customer service is bad

I can state with all honesty that Katie and the whole team have all been brilliant over the past 12 years, acting as managing agents letting out my property for me. I now need to sell, however if the house doesn't sell for any reason, then I will definitely be back in contact with Belvoir to act as letting agents again for me. For over a decade they have provided a professional and first class service, sourcing quality tenants, and providing a great level of support in managing the property on my behalf as I live too far away to manage myself.

I rarely ever write a review, but felt it was important for those searching with this letting agency to know the experiences I've had, which seem similar to others who have commented here. I'd emailed regarding a property, got a swift reply which was lovely, after sending a reply email, I heard nothing back. I rang up 4/5 days later, being assured I'd be contacted. Was I? No.
So I emailed again, to receive no reply. This didn't look great, but presumed it would be an issue with that 1 property. I then emailed regarding 4 or 5 properties, heard back for only 1 of these, things looked promising though and I was given a viewing. Victory! 3 weeks later, my viewing was 1 day away and I receive an email from Belvoir and I quote "Good Morning, unfortunately we are going to have to cancel your viewing tomorrow. Please contact the office if you would like to view another property. Kind Regards. Belvoir" It was not good at all.

Tried to keep 85% of the deposit for so called 'repairs' needed after we moved out. The place was left spotless (cleaning company where used)yet tried to charge a 300 pounds cleaning fee. Then tried to charge us rent until they had found a new tenant move it, Which unsurprisingly they delayed telling us my weeks although someone had already moved in. Bunch of crooks

Have rented twice through Belvoir Hereford, am going through the process of my third time now, everybody I have dealt with has always treated me in a professional manner, every time I have had a repair needed they have always sorted as quickly as possible. special shout out to my letting agent Chris Davies who is always a pleasure to deal with. 5 stars from me

I have used Belvoir to manage a property in Hereford in excess of ten years and have been very pleased with their service. They are always professional and have provided me with excellent advice on level of rents and tenants. I have no hesitation in recommending Belvoir Hereford to any potential landlords. They know their business and make the process of letting easy.

I was moving from another city into Hereford and really needed a lot of help. The folks at Belvoir, they were incredibly helpful. I ended up going with a property they hadn't listed and it's been a good while overdue for me to write the review. But, the customer service their team offered was so exceptional, I feel that motivated to write them an exemplary review and would love to work with them again in the future. A great help to the rental market :

Belvoir simply stopped returning my calls after I left the place I was letting from them. After almost two months I've had to open a dispute with the tenancy deposit scheme in order to try to recover my deposit. They never even asked me for an amount of money, so this felt quite ridiculous, but in the end trying to get them to engage with me was just too stressful. Be wary of trusting them with your business, because they clearly don't have any respect for their tenants' time or money.

By far the most crooked letting agency myself and my housemate have had the displeasure of using. They are clearly in cahoots with the landlords, with a creative imagination for extracting money from tenants and making sure they keep 110 percent of the deposit. As I speak they are insisting the blinds in our house are unusable damaged and require over 100 pounds a piece to repair and threatening eviction if we do not pay. I only wish we had listened to previous customers of Belvoir before signing up for this.

Under no circumstances ever use belvoir lettings! I was a tenant for less than a year and I will NEVER use this agency again! I reported many faults which were not fixed, calls not returned and the worst became when I left the property I was left with a huge amount of faults which they wanted to deduct from my final deposit which were largely unfair and not just One included a 180 because I did not weed the garden - let me explain I had messages from he landlord suggesting that to leave the garden her husband would come and do this as they were selling the property and that I was not to do any work which I offered to do! Secondly the house was full of cluster flys filthy skirting boards and full of cobwebbs They had to cheek to say that I had to pay for this to be cleaned top to bottom professional even though it was left clean freshly carpeted before I left the property!
The house was not freshly decorated and had several markings which I have to now cop the bill for it to be professionally painted which will leave me with a huge bill although I never made not even a third of the markings! I was also sent a bill for a faulty alarm on arrival at the agency I was told by staff that not to worry as this was faulty and broken on my arrival at the property!
They let me rent out a property with my young children that had a faulty and broken fire alarm! It is fair to say that unless you want to enter a dispute to get your deposit back and be left with added bills then DO NOT use belvoir lettings I have been with many letting agents and these are by far the worst, they lack customer service and allowed the landlord to walk in when she wanted gave her a key and allowed her to harass me with constant voicemails saying that I must stay in the property as I make the house lol good with my furniture so she can get a sale and demanding that I leave while she showed people around leaving me to drive around with my newborn son!
I had great inspections and then left with a nasty bill They left me with a leaking hole in my sons ceiling as well as a broken plug in my bathroom and if a fire broke out I would have no idea as the alarm was broken! Awful agency and complete money grabbers AVOID! Jasmine Fortey
