Would just like to say I had some concerns as tenants guarantor but Darby was amazing throughout the whole process. She constantly made me feel at ease and I was well informed. She was lovely to talk to and always answered any questions in a courteous way. I couldn't fault her professionalism and I am so sure I am in good hands.

Amazing maintenance staff- Peter worked amazingly to clean and paint the nasty moulded walls, he was so well experienced and he knew what he was doing. A big thanks for Peter and Leicester Lettings for sending him. He definitely deserves a 5 star.

Was a tenant with you for many years, you transferred my tenancy and deposits to a new landlord after being told i wanted to stay with you, costing me a fair amount of money to move to another property instead of the transfer fee with yourselves. You did this so as the property was more attractive to a buyer with ongoing tenancies than having an empty flat, i believe, without regard for anything but a sale and profit.

The flat is damp and has black mould, your solution was to paint over the damp with emulsion, the windows are rotten, your solution was to paint over them with gloss. The immersion tank does not turn off. There's a 1 inch gap under every door, and no draught excluders at all. The back door doesn't fit correctly, the lights flicker, and no door in the flat can actually close due to damaged or old door catches.

I've informed the new landlord of the issues, i hope he can do something legally because he wasn't aware of how bad some of the issues are, but who knows. I'll be moving on, but you are absolutely disgusting, I've never missed a rent payment, never damaged a thing in all those years, and when you made an admin error and told me my rent was outstanding once, i came and paid you the money, and then learned you'd made a mistake and refunded me three weeks later. Don't rent with these people, avoid at all costs.

Such a nice letting agents to deal with. From renting in October-19 to now, they have been amazing. So helpful with queries, maintenance and the staff at the office are so efficient. I have never had a call where I've not felt like they helped me, not that I've had any real issues to call about. Sophie is my go to in the office, so friendly and helpful.

The maintenance guys I've had come to the flat are very friendly too. Overall very cleaning building to live in, with lovely cleaners who come weekly to maintenance the cleanliness of the building.

I've rented with Leicester Lettings for over ten years and can say that the quality of service from them is second to none. Very tidy properties, helpful and courteous staff, very competitive rates, an ideally located office, long established and always professional. Basically, you can't go wrong - I've been recommending them for years.

Please don't scroll past this review thinking i'm just being picky and make the same mistake I did when I took a chance with this company. 1 star is probably an understatement. This company are all smiles and friendly before your locked into a tenancy with them, then things change. Their properties are barely livable ( I had problems with dampness, having no heating, hot water problems and much more) and their rules and ways of working are all about profit even if it means crapping on their tenants.

Its filthy that they can get away with what they do. My time with them was hell and their incompetence laughable. Don't be fooled by the shiny exterior and cheap prices, stay well away from them.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of using Jamie Lewis as my first letting. Suffice to say I loved the room as it was big, bright and airy, however the problems started soon after moving in. I had worked nights and when looking at the property before renting, had no idea that the tenant beneath liked to play his music with the base on full blast. Jamie Lewis only seriously got involved when I contacted the council despite my complaints.

To top this off, the boiler was working for only maybe an hour or two during the morning, on some days not at all, meaning no hot water for 6 bedsits residents. The only option was to use the 2nd floor which had a separate boiler, but imagine fitting in 9 residents using the shower and cooking in the kitchen! Despite regular calls and they sending out engineers who seemingly couldn't figure out the problem, it took 7 months for them to fix it.

No rent discount was offered. During this time when the weather got cold at the end of September, there was absolutely no heating. I had to purchase heaters myself due to MOULD growing on my windows. A sharp phone call to maintenance was made in November and oddly the boiler was fixed in only 4 days. Regular hot water available at any time of the day was only sorted out in October.

I had emailed Jamie Lewis regarding compensation, however they chose to ignore my 3 emails regarding this matter and I had no choice but to go through the small claims court, to which the problem still hasn't been sorted. Nor have I had any money back. I will be moving out at the end of April and would advice everyone not to use this company.
