Unprofessional and poor communication. Deducted money from the deposit for an item that didn't exist in the first inventory, for things already noted on the first inventory, and for unnecessary "cleaning fees".

At the end my tenancy befor I get my deposite they deducted around 200 for cleaning and window cleaning. after 4 years paying rent in time and never done any painting and decoration justcaftervi have left the property.

I have let my property through the Property Letting Centre for the past 10 years. Finding tenants was never a problem and when one tenancy would end they would find a new tenant within days. They have taken care of maintenance, repairs and renovations in a swift and efficient manner. Living abroad I never had to worry about a thing and had full. confidence in the PLC that they would take care of any problems that would arise.

I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to rent out their property. The 'personal' touch with which they do their business also makes such a huge difference.

As a student, I've often found that letting agents treat me like a child or don't take my concerns seriously, however this was in no way the case with The Property Letting Centre.

I feel that they truly valued me as a tenant and though I appreciate everyone I dealt with whilst living there, Suzanne in particular was the most helpful, timely, considerate, patient and down right loveliest member of staff I've had the pleasure of meeting.

Paid a double deposit and first month of rent to secure a room via e-mail. When I returned from my holiday to move in, they told me the room was still occupied. Was shoved for 2 days in a hotel before stuffing me into a substandard flat with no heating nor internet. Apparently, the tenant occupying the room I paid for will not be leaving a month later.

I was (and am) still raging. Staff was rude in dealing with the situation, they will not tell you anything unless you ask or when the problem has already escalated. Started bringing in your race and ethnicity to cover up they messed up the situation. Cheekily told me that these situations happen all the time and they expect you to stay with a friend when that happens.

Like seriously? Stay with a friend for a month? Are they for real or just desperate to paint themselves in a better light? Imagine coming back from your holiday and being left stranded on the streets with your luggage. Their emergency number rarely works, had to call for an hour before someone picked up. They had no choice but the stuff me in travelodge for two nights and emphasized its out of the goodness of their hearts that they pay for it. Honestly, if they did not I would have gone to the police and sued them for fraud. DO NOT work with PLC, unless you want to be treated like trash.

I have been renting a flat from the Property Letting Centre for over 3 years, and they have always been very helpful and friendly, responding immediately to my emails, and quickly arranging for their contractors to come and do jobs in the flat whenever something needed to be fixed. The rent was paid monthly and there was never a problem with it, and the Property Letting Centre staff was always very helpful when my contract needed to be renewed.

In the end, the deposit repayment was processed without any delays. It was great working with the guys at the Property Letting Centre and I would be delighted to work with them again in the future.

Never again: Avoid. I should have known when I went to view the property and the agent failed to arrive. After phoning and waiting, I was given a very passive viewing and the agent failed to have vital information such as availability dates or keys to access on of the rooms which was available to let. Despite this, and needing an urgent place to live, I took the room. Unfortunately, the property was riddled with serious maintenance issues including safety concerns.

I repeatedly notified the agents of these problems, wrote letters and emails, and visited the offices in person. Nothing was ever resolved. I was eventually left. I cannot recommend this experience nor have I anything positive to say about this company.

They have always been accessible and fast in solving any problems we might have had and very accommodating with our needs.

Unlike other agencies, they were very understanding with the fact that we all were international students and facilitated the paperwork process for us swiftly and efficiently. I've been very impressed with the service I've received from The property letting centre. They are nice and easy to deal with, handle any maintenance issues quickly and explain things in a straightforward manner. While I was still flat hunting, I looked at a few of their properties and the agent answered all the questions I had and didn't try and rush me. Property Letting Centre, based on Newington Road, seems like one of the city's smaller letting agents compared to Grant Management, for example. They have managed my current flat on behalf of our landlords for the past couple of years. On the whole, their service has been good. In the period leading up to taking the flat, signing the lease and moving in, they were very helpful, always keeping us up to date with how things were progressing.

They also helped out in the period immediately after we moved in, helping us to set up our gas and electricity accounts. This good service continued once we were established. They responded to any queries we had quickly and efficiently, apart from maybe a couple of times when it took a few days. Apart from the occasional thing that they promised, and didn't deliver on, they were thorough and professional.

When considered against the many other letting agents, and some of the horror stories that I have heard of them, they were very good. I would happily rent a property managed by them again.

I lived in the flat rented from the Property Letting Centre for 2 years. I moved out last week. I really like the flat. My bedroom is really big and I have my own bathroom inside. It is very convenient for me. All the bills are included and we don't need to bother the cleanness of the common area. Because the letting centre provide the services like gardening and housecleaning.

We are a French couple and have moved around the U.K. quite a bit in the last few years. Out of all the flats we rented in the U.K. our best experience was with TPLC by far. They respond quickly. They are very patient and kind and understanding, even when we were late for one payment because we forgot to set it up in direct debit.
