I was very happy with the service provided by Preena when I went for a viewing. She was very nice and professional. She let me take as much time I needed to look at the property and then explained everything clearly, in an very approachable and honest way. I think it was an outstanding service compared to other agents I've dealt with, who just basically let you in the house and know nothing about the property. Highly recommended!

I came to Key West after my previous letting agent had let my rental property get into a terrible state and had changed tenants without letting me know. Asim Iqbal has made the whole changeover process run seamlessly and has always been very helpful and prompt to respond to any query. I highly recommend Key West and Asim!

I have recently appointed Key West to fully manage my property. From the outset when Asim came to the property his politeness and professionalism, expert knowledge, and guidance regarding my options was excellent. I look forward to and feel relieved that my property will be left in his capable hands going forward. Highly satisfied.

Highly recommend Keywest. Whenever I have dealt with any of the team they have always been knowledgeable, professional and friendly. One of the standout people has been Amy Petts who is always more than happy to help. Her knowledge and guidance in resolving a maintenance issue during a very busy December period was invaluable.

Our house moving journey has only just started, but so far we have nothing but praise for Asim at the Hinckley Road Leicester branch. He has been invaluable providing us with information other estate agents didn't, which ultimately made the decision for us to choose Keywest. I am happy to give an updated review when we are further along the process, but have every faith we will continue to be happy with Asim's service.

Asim attended to value my property and was clearly very knowledgeable and had undertaken plenty of research to show me how he would arrive at a value. He was better prepared than the other estate agents that I had to value the house. He was professional, very polite and courteous to myself and the tenants in the property and a gave me lots of confidence in his abilities. Very happy customer. Thankyou

I have used Keywest to manage my property for many years and always found them to offer an excellent service. They communicate any issues and keep me fully informed about my property. Recently I had an issue with some trees and gardening and Amy dealt with this very efficiently and was quick to respond to any questions. She kept me in the loop and ensured a successful outcome with little stress to me.

Preena was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. She was very approachable and showed me a house that was not on my list but could be potentially interested, which I ended up buying. She knew the area inside out and provided insights into what rent I could achieve in the area. I would highly recommend their service to other people and would not hesitate to liaise with them in the future if I need to sell or rent my property. Thanks.

Being a remote landlord I feel extremely lucky to have recently found this agency to manage my property. The branch as a whole have always been very helpful and friendly, in particular I must mention, Asim Iqbal. Asim has gone above and beyond in helping me to bring the property to the market in a timely manner, nothing has been too much trouble and his professionalism and knowledge of the market has been outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

We have used Keywest as a letting agency for a number of years and they have found us a good reliable tennant. More recently however we put our house up for sale so we asked Keywest to manage this for us too. All the team were extremely helpful from the initial evaluation through to arranging viewings, managing the offers made and supporting us right through to the sale.
In particular Preena has been fantastic. Preena was always on the ball with the process, arranging new viewings when prospect buyers were messing us around and generally being very helpful and proactive. We would definitely recommend Keywest for any landlords or if you are looking to sell your house in this area.

Just sold my house through these guys. They are friendly, understanding and helpful. I think they got me a buyer within a week and a half, the first sale sign didn't even go up. I bought a house from them years ago and sold it rough them, I can't complain and I'll be using them again in future if I need to rent property or buy, or sell. They are a good agency who care that's the impression I got.

I recently bought my first residential property through Keywest Estate Agents and I couldn't recommend them more even if I tried. I'm so appreciative of Preena Kotecha's hard work, perseverance and professionalism during the process of the sale. She made the buying process smooth sailing for me. She's been great!

My husband and I have been the luckiest to have found a property through Keywest! We were going through a really tough time finding a nice place on the market. When we called Keywest, Bruce, Sara, Preena and Emma were all so lovely and supportive. They fully understood the situation I was in and helped me secure a lovely property in Leicester. They are so responsive and and extremely polite. Many thanks to them and I highly recommend anyone moving to Leicester to reach out to them.

Highly recommend to anyone wishing to purchase a house or have their property managed. Service and communication provided by all staff at the branches or in person at property viewings is excellent and are always responsive. Tony Poole who has shown me a few property viewings is brilliant. His customer service is brilliant, very professional, friendly and is always pleasant and charming (even on the phone). I look forward to using Keywest Lettings and Estate Agents Leicester services again in the future.

AVOID Keywest Sales & Lettings!!
Rented from Keywest for two years and it was the worst two years of my life! Don't put yourself through the hell! To preface - we paid the rent in full on time every time, never late on payments or bills, kept the property clean and tidy for all viewings and inspections, kept it well ventilated and secure, were careful with all provided appliances, and were treated abysmally regardless!!
The maintenance manager Felix was patronising, defensive, negligent, sexist and ableist, and unapologetic towards us for the full two year tenancy. When the washing machine at the property fell on its back due to dangerously incorrect installation, Felix insisted a disabled tenant *should* be able to lift it, and threatened to charge if they didn't within 24hrs. Felix also refused to remove nails sticking out of the wall, or fix a door frame hanging off it's hinges.
Very dangerous. The lettings negotiator Sara was aggressive and very immature through all communications - she gave us the wrong keys to the house, and refused to issue us each a set of keys to the front door, and insisted keys to the back door should suffice, and we could share one set of front door keys. Sara ignored the majority of emails sent to her, and would consistently break the tenancy agreement by trying to schedule viewings without proper notice.
The staff turnover was high so it was hard to get consistent communication with anyone - anyone who wanted to do things right left the company very quickly when they realised Keywest don't follow the rules! Other members of staff were equally offhand and disregarded most communications, claiming they could not get in touch with the landlord as he was abroad, and we should just make the best of it.
Leicester city council told us there was asbestos in the garden, and to report it to the landlord immediately, which we did.
For over a year we begged Keywest to get the landlord to remove the asbestos for health and safety reasons, and they refused to contact the landlord, or deal with it! There is still asbestos in the garden of the property and Keywest refuse to acknowledge it on any official documentation! When we moved into our property it was filthy, dirty, dusty, grimy, greasy, messy, hadn't been cleaned at all before we moved in (which we were promised by Keywest). Keywest refused to remove the previous tenant's belongings so we spent the first day of moving in, moving other people's rubbish out.
The majority of furniture provided was broken - drawers, wardrobes, stove top, cupboards, toilet seat, boiler leaking, and a rotting compost bin! We phoned Keywest over 30 times in the first week or so of living there, and countless emails trying to get someone to fix the broken items, they were ignored and passed off. Throughout the tenancy we had the threat of our deposit being taken dangled over our head so we would stop asking for stuff to be fixed and do it ourselves.
When we requested the landlord's address we were told he lived in another country and was uncontactable, we were told months later he actually lived on our street, and then found out he is managing director of Keywest! How's that for conflict of interest! They are now trying to sell the property we moved out of, presumably it is too faulty to continue renting, and the lettings agent is lying to the people they are showing around about all sorts of problems with the house.
I have all screenshots and images of every malfeasance in a word document if you need proof drop me a line before thinking about doing business with Keywest!! They do not follow the correct procedures or Landlord and Tenant Act 1985!! Save your time and money and go for someone more competent like Priya Properties, First4Lettings, Nicholas Humphreys, Belvoir Lettings & Estate Agents!!

Our company has recently purchased a property through the Keywest Estate Agent sales team who are very friendly, knowledgable about the area, and Tony also kept us updated during the sales process. We have also had Keywest Lettings manage our student property for the last 2 years and the staff there are extremely efficient in dealing with both the lettings side of things and the maintenance issues that crop up. Once the newly acquired property is refurbished we will confidently pass it on to the Keywest Lettings team to manage.

I have been a client of Keywest Estate Agents for many years as a landlord and also a vendor in recent times, the service overall has been very efficient and friendly, the staff understood my requirements and were helpful towards our tenants during the sale of one of our properties. The team are very personable and give up their time out of hours which is something you do not find with many local agents within the LE3 area. I would recommend Keywest to those people looking for a agent offering expertise of the local area and good quality tenants and efficient service overall.
Eric Philips
I have found my experience with Keywest to be one of the better ones when dealing with estate agencies. I would definitely recommend this company above all others in Leicester for lettings. I found their negotiators to be proactive and efficient, found me a great tenant quickly! Couldn't be happier with the service!! Keep it up.

I created this account to write review. Plenty of agents say they specialise in lettings or sales. I have been a landlord for many years with different agents across the city. Big companies and independents. The usual statements advising me "we will be better" or "we offer a fully managed service that will take the stress away". I requested valuations of my student property and the only company that was professional was Keywest.
I waited until they successfully rented and the students moved in before I write review. Before I knew it, contracts were signed and even with 3 people dropping out, new tenants were found and I have my money. I have had problem with the company who were in town and now moved to queens road, were the rudest staff I have dealt with, they have two names but moved into one office. Plus the competing agents on Hinckley road, were just as rude. Here I am now, happy that I have my money and Keywest are such a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Keywest.

Selling my house was a long process with several unexpected problems. Throughout it all Keywest provided an excellent service. Tony kept me informed with very regular updates, was always prompt when dealing with queries and problems and was easily contactable. Despite it being a complicated sale they made the whole thing run smoothly and with minimal stress. I would definitely recommend them and use them again

We recently purchased our first home (thanks to God!) and the sellers were represented by Keywest. It was a stressful time as you can imagine, we had a time limit to get this purchase settled before our rental contract came to an end so we had pressure all ways round. I can’t explain how helpful and empathetic Keywest and Tony in particular were.
I think I rang 2/3 times a day hassling poor Tony to ensure whatever needed done to go through ASAP and not once did he get frustrated or impatient with us. Ultimately Tony had a great hand in ensuring it all went through by the required time. I cannot express how impressed I am at how he dealt with us even though we weren’t his client, he didn’t owe us anything but he received every call and was so polite and extremely helpful and because of Tony and his team if we do require an estate agent for future purposes, we will be using Keywest without a doubt! Thank you once again Tony!

Some months ago my property company agreed to purchase a house through the agency of Key West. I was pleased to experience a first rate service using these dedicated agents and whilst never posting reviews on such sites I have been sufficiently impressed to register as a new member with this review site to acknowledge my satisfaction. The transaction went through well, any technical issues being dealt with efficiently or passed on to the lawyers for resolution, so that I was kept up to date and politely informed of progress and final completion by the sales manager handling my case, Richard Chesterton, whose team were reassuringly on the ball.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company and particularly Richard to those seeking a professional route to property sales, and doubtless also lettings and general rental, matters. Keep up the good work.

Could not recommend these guys more, they were helpful from the very beginning to the end of our tenancy. Any problems we had with the house were dealt with quickly and we were always checked up on to make sure we were happy with solutions.
Sheryl was always happy to contact the landlord with us i.e when we wanted to paint some of the rooms she made sure we were compensated.
I don't understand the poor reviews, can only think they are from unrealistic expectations from other clients. Estate agents are ridiculously busy, they can't jump to demands within seconds. Would happily rent from Keywest again!
