Strawberry Student Homes Sheffield

I resided in one of Strawberry's properties for two years during my studies in Sheffield, following a recommendation from a former tenant. My experience was excellent. Maintenance requests were promptly addressed and treated with utmost seriousness. The property itself was elegantly presented, boasting a modern aesthetic. The staff were incredibly helpful. I strongly endorse choosing this company for accommodation, especially for students seeking a positive living experience.

Brilliant service, very friendly and fix any issues immediately

Me and 3 others stayed at one of their properties for 7 months this year. From the beginning, any problems we had with the flat were solved quickly, and they were always very responsive to emails and calls about the issues we had with the property. Had no problem with moving out and getting deposits back either, and they were very helpful and understanding with all queries! A good experience overall :

A current tenant at a property owned by this company and have no complaints at all. Was with dove properties the previous 2 years and strawberry are much better in every aspect. They respond quickly, help tenants and just overall better people. Any problem we've had they been brilliant. They have even offered alternative accommodation for us while there is essential work being done to the house which is out of anyone's control. 100% recommend.

Had a great year in our strawberry house near the botanical gardens. Really nice house and a full time maintenance staff who did any repairs and things like that really fast. Their office is only just along the road so popping in was no problem and office staff are very friendly and helpful. Thanks : C

I stayed with Strawberry Student Homes they were a great company to deal with. They responded quickly and totally dealt with our boiler problem. Can't understand why some of the reviews on here are only one star. We always found them and their staff to be helpful and polite. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Currently living in a Strawberry house just off Ecclesall Road and I have to say it is fantastic. A very nicely kept house, new bathroom and kitchen, very clean (before we arrived anyway!) and NO DAMP of any kind! The fact it's double glazed is also a big bonus. The office staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble so far. They have their own maintenance staff who look after all the houses and they came and sorted a sticky toilet flush literally the same day I called them about it. Very positive on the whole and I think we will be staying here next year as well. thanks SSH

Just about to finish my tenancy with Strawberry for my second year in Uni. I can say Amy has been nothing but amazing when it comes to the house and giving advice on unfortunately some of my unfavourable housemates this year. The houses are well kept and of good standard. They've been super speedy with repairs and maintenance, and if replacements have been required they have been brand new and the maintenance team are super friendly too. Made life in my student house really easy this year so thanks Amy and the rest of the Strawberry Team! Would defiantly recommend!

Really pleased we went with the Strawberry house, 7 bedrooms and the best quality by far of the many that we all viewed. They have been excellent to date, nothing has too much trouble for them with regards to stuff in the house. We had an issue with the hot water tap in the bathroom and they had a really nice maintenance guy out the same day to sort it. Awesome!

Overall a very positive experience with Strawberry. We have had very nicely furnished and a well looked after house all year near the Botanical Gardens in Ecclesall, with minimal problems. The staff in the office are very helpful and nothing has been too much trouble for them when we have had anything crop up. Also their maintenance guys are spot on, friendly and addressed anything that needed doing very quickly. Very happy with the service all year! Recommended!

Our Strawberry house is lovely and located right near the Botanical gardens in Ecclesall. Whenever I or housemates have had any questions the office and maintenance staff have been brilliant. We have felt really well looked after and would recommend to any other students considering renting or not. Also their houses are the best by a loooong way!

I have rented a house from Strawberry for 2 years while at Sheffield Hallam university and had a great experience with them. The houses were both fantastic (6 bed year 1 , 7 bed year 2) and the office was always very friendly and helpful. Spot on!

Thanks to the guys at Strawberry Student Homes, I had a fantastic experience. Being at the heart of eccy road was perfect, and the house was furnished great (especially compared to some of our other friends houses). Overall I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a student house in Sheffield next year.

From the beginning of our tenancy to the end, the Strawberry team were nothing but unhelpful, rude and passive aggressive. Unannounced entry into our home which occurred on several separate occasions, even after lacklustre e-mail correspondence on their part and generally poor service became a hallmark of Strawberry's service. Take heed from the other countless reviews and do not use this lettings agency.

Our house just off Ecclesall road is in great condition and well maintained. Strawberry have always been really friendly and prompt if any thing needed fixing which is going to happen with 7 students living in a house.! rent was very competitive and to be honest the houses are definitely way above the other student 'rental' agencies, these are some pukka student places.

One other thing is that Strawberry own all their houses rather than manage them on behalf of hundreds of other landlords, so they have full control over getting stuff done fast and keeping them tip top. Definitely the company to use for student homes in Ecclesall.

Would give 0 starts but not allowed. If you leave a deposit have fun getting it back. The customer service of some of the staff is non-existent. Rude. If you have have an issue, just pray the dragons is not in her lair. Would not reccommend. Wouldn't use again, even if they paid me.

Strawberry student homes have been our letting agent for 1 year and their customer service can only be described as atrocious. They have consistently hassled us regarding minor details and have sent us several letters containing information that we know to be false. They have set out, in small print, several terms in the lease that are designed to extortionate the tenant.

The house was almost uninhabitable when we moved in with the bathrooms requiring major cleaning and some of the rooms having faulty wardrobes, dressers and a smashed window in the kitchen, for which they immediately blamed us. They falsely advertised extra rooms in the house that were nowhere to be seen when we moved in including a brand new bathroom that actually turned out to be a bare room with no flooring, wallpaper or any toilet, shower or bath facilities, they are still advertising this bathroom on the website to this day.

They will attempt to take your deposit of you as soon as you set foot in the door and continually try and find ways to bleed extra money out of the tenants. The boiler has broke down several times in the height of winter with no sign of assistance from them. Contacting them by email is also a waste of time as they always reply with the same rude response basically consisting of 'its not our problem'. I would recommend steering well clear of strawberry student homes.

Not a problem, any issues we have had have been sorted more or less immediately. John and everyone else in the office are lovely people and really look their tenants. We hope to spend 2 years here we like the house and landlords that much

Love our house on Wadborough road, it is a brilliant location, great neighbours and a lovely big big house. Big rooms, nicely decorated and all certified in terms of electrics and such which we were wanting from our home to be. Nothing is too much trouble for the strawberry maintenance team and as they are based about 400 metres away they are mega fast to help whenever we needed it. Thanks strawberry :)

Amy and the rest of the people at Strawberry have been brilliant in accommodating our sometimes demanding needs as a large group of tennants! Really helpful , amazing house in the best part of Sheffield. Who want's to live in a smelly city centre when you could live right by Ecclesall road but 2 mins from Endcliffe Park?! That's what we thought anyway and this year has confirmed it. Fabulous!

Stayed in the same house throughout second and third year and Strawberry Properties were excellent the whole time. Whenever there was a problem, they sorted it straight away as they have their own full time staff looking after things. Would highly recommend them

Strawberry have shown themselves to be far superior to the letting agencies that I have used in the past. They're very fast to reply to any questions or queries, and are happy to fix any issues with the property it seems same day. Amy who works there has been super efficient and helpful and in January (it really was quite cold) our boiler had an issue and she had their own in house engineer round the same day to fix it.

Well chuffed because other friends of mine have been left without heating for days or weeks with other agencies (that I better not mention!) . Your in good hands with Strawberry, these guys rock!

I have been renting a property from Strawberry for the past year and have been more than happy with their service. The house was very clean when we arrived and the standard of house is way above others we viewed. The location on Westbrook bank, for us anyway, cant be beaten and the rent is very competitive too. As a group of students the all inclusive nature of the property suits us very well and has proven to be very easy for us to manage.

On the few occasions I have needed to contact Strawberry the office staff have been very friendly and attended to whatever issue we had. For example we were having some issues with the back door lock sticking and Strawberry had their own staff come and fit a new hi security lockset and provide us all with a new key. Brilliant team!
