This was a job where we demolished a rear garage and lean-to, to make way for a new rear extension. An access was created via an external staircase to two newly converted studios at first floor level, and an attractive roof terrace was laid for the new tenants to enjoy outside space. The space between the lower shop and the upper accommodation was thoroughly soundproofed to provide comfort to residential and commercial occupants.
A substantial construction project undertaken in two stages. The first phase saw a large ground floor extension being constructed and decorated to create a stylish family/living space with feature log burner fire. UPVC doors opened on to a newly laid patio, creating a smart and useful outside entertaining area.
