Shefflets have managed my property since 2010 during which time it has been continuously let with minimal void times between tenancies. All legal and letting processes are done properly and by the book including: Referencing; Deposit Protection; Inventory; end of tenancy checkouts and as a result I have never had a problem with a tenancy. All of the team at Shefflets are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. In summary (and I am not easy to please) these guys are the Rolls Royce of Letting Agencies, they set the standards that others should aspire to!

I'm currently into my second year of renting a property and have always found them to be very responsive. There has been issues itself with the property but whenever they have come up Shefflets have been quick to sort it out with the landlord. Nicola, Lynsey, Olivia, Lauren and Jess have all been quick to get back to us on any queries. It took a matter of days for us to get all paperwork through for signing agreements when we were ready to move in and the checkups/inspection on the house all went well despite the COVID-19 situation. Edit: Just coming to the end of our 3rd year in the property and signing up for the 4th. Still an excellent service all round,

As a landlord I have used Shefflets to let and mange my property for a number of years. I have found them to very strong and professional in terms of securing and documenting lettings in a timely manner. In terms of property management we had a series of discussions at the outset to establish our respective requirements and expecations; since then I have found them to be speedy and responsive in reacting to tenant issues, and seeking my authority to necessary expenditure.

Head and shoulders the best estate agency we've dealt with as tenants in more than a decade in the UK. Courteous, attentive, thorough, and extremely responsive -- I once raised a query and received an immediate reply from Nikki at 9.30pm of a weekend! The Fixflo online tool is great (if a bit addictive at the beginning!) and simple to use whenever there are issues in the flat. Communication was great throughout our rental. Totally recommend.

This is the state of our rental property after Shefflets vetted our tenant and failed to notice the business that apparently supplied a reference didn't actually exist! Having raised this with them, they said they'd look into it and get back to me. No phone call. We're now left with thousands of pounds worth of damage and months of hassle to try and get it sorted. Avoid.

Everything is fine until move out, then you'll have parts of your deposit kept back for "cleaning". This is of course, despite leaving the flat in a better condition than when you moved in. Staff have been rude and unhelpful upon move out, despite my attempts to resolve the issue. A company with the motto of "If you're not getting paid we're not getting paid!" as per one of their own replies to a landlord's review here, says everything you need to know about what they think about their tenants. Probably the worst example of a money grabbing letting agent I have seen in Sheffield, as I have never had any trouble with others. Avoid them if you can.

We have dealt with both Shefflets and Sheffsales, the former in 2019 when we were looking for a place to rent in Sheffield, and the latter in 2021 when our landlord sold the house were renting through them, and we also chose to sell a property we owned through them. On all occasions they were great to work with: friendly, understanding, flexible, helpful, full of good advice, and sympathetic when (through no fault of theirs) things didn't go quite the way we were hoping.
Their realism is a strength, as is their detailed local knowledge and the small size of their (very dedicated) team, which made communication easy. We definitely recommend them and would certainly use them again if we needed to rent or sell.

As a foreigner who has been in rent in the UK in the last ten years, lived in a number of cities, has been with various agents and has been with Shefflets for more than three years, I would say they are undoubtedly the best. Everyone there is nice, professional, efficient and supportive. Most importantly, they manage the property well, never give you any hassles on inspection or fees, and always act promptly when you need them. I am about to start another new tenancy with them and can't wait for it. Highly recommend!

Excellent letting agency and the landlord they represent. Been with them for 4 and a half years already and any issues are resolved as soon as possible and always in a very friendly manner. They even went the extra mile recently providing an alternative solution when our washer gave up, enabling us to still wash our clothes which was very important as my partner works for the NHS, absolutely recommend 5/5
