Horrendous estate agent not only for myself but for the other neighbouring houses on my street. When reporting problems to them you either get no reply or they send 'cowboys' who are incompetent. I myself have had to pay for my own shower repairing as they did nothing and a relative despite reporting horrendous mould issues has still had no joy to the point the actual landlord has himself had to be contacted directly and my neighbour had to buy his own oven as they did not replace it. Like a circus: the entire staff workforce are a joke and yes I do rent from you and still unfortunately do

Amazing company with amazing staff. Deb and the team at Zed are the most helpful letting agency I have had the pleasure of using. Any issue can be solved with a text or a phone call and usually solved by the end of they day. From Claire the lady who showed us around the property to Deb herself who is alway happy and cheerful on the phone and will answer any questions we put to her.

Can honestly say Zed have definitely been the best letting agents I've been with over the years, honest, fair and always helpful. If I've had issues with the property and repairs they've always been brilliant. Just a phone call to the staff and they did the do the rest! Stress free renting all the way thankyou zed

WOW how can people be so nasty? Can honestly say in all the years we've rented with zed they're the best letting agents in mexborough - and we've been with a couple of others! Even came out on a Sunday at 10pm to bring us some keys when we got locked out - would others would do that! Some of these reviews must be fake cos they never spoke to Deb and her team or they'd know they're friendly and always helpful. Get a grip moaners - you're not the only ones they look after - try buying a house and see how quick you can get suppliers out!

I had an emergency late of a evening, one simple txt to the emergency number and within 10 mins from sending the txt, I had the plumber on the phone talking me through the problem and arranged for the problem to be fixed the next day. Zed lettings are very professional and responsive and very approachable. They are a credit to the lettings industry . Thank you Zed lettings

I have been with Zed letting for 6 years now and can honestly say that during these trying times they have continued to give me 110% professional service even when having to work from home. They were just as prompt and efficient as always. They are not a multi company like the big boys so all of the staff know each tenant and landlord and respond to them personally so you are not just a number on a file.
Its good to have a company running my property that I can trust they have never let me down if a problem has occurred they have sorted it promptly. Highly recommend them to anyone thinking of letting or renting through them.

Appallingly negligent and uncommunicative. I honestly don't know what these people do all day but it isn't looking after the needs and wellbeing of their tenants. I'm looking forward to the dismissive, passive aggressive "we don't recognise your name so you can't possibly have a genuine grievance with us." I think that attitude tells you everything you need to know about them. Edit: I've just seen your reply.
Absolutely classic. Has it not occurred to you that your tenants might have partners and family that might also have something to say about your awful service? Deb and the team at Zed Lettings really helped me out after I'd been let down by another agent. As a landlord I found Zed lettings to be very proactive, understanding and there was superb communication throughout. They have a positive, can do attitude which made all the difference. Couldn't recommend more highly!

I rented with Zed Lettings for 3 years, a 4 bed house in Payne Crescent. The staff at Zed Lettings are pleasant enough, however I had a number of issues that were not resolved. One being a shower that wasn't fixed for a year, brought to their attention on at least 2 inspections. However my main reason for writing this review is that the garden at this property has a huge amount of glass in it which Zed Lettings and the landlords are aware of yet are not concerned. Included in my tenancy were my small children and a dog.
On moving into the property I was told by the landlord Lee that there may be small amounts of glass in the garden due to them removing a greenhouse from the garden behind through the house. I spent 3 years picking glass out of the garden with my children regularly cutting themselves to the point where I sought permission to lay decking before deciding to move.
Only on leaving and turning the grass to lay grass seed did I see the extent of how many huge shards of glass were in the garden. It's extremely dangerous. I've reported this to the correct council department but with COVID I doubt anything will be done. As I said zed lettings are aware. I reported it again to them when I left and left some shards of glass on the windowsill to show them and the landlords.
The property is being advertised as brand new, newly refurbished which it was before I moved in in 2017 (as in the photos they are using), unless they have again replaced the kitchen, bathroom, all carpets etc it certainly isn't brand new (tenancy -1 adult, 3 kids and a dog for 3 years) so something to be aware of when accepting the inventory. On leaving the property I was asked to return the property to new.
I had the entire property painted white (id had permission to paint during tenancy), carpets cleaned and left immaculate and the landlords demanded 200 from my deposit. Through DPS I agreed to 35 (a socket was broken, a tiny pull in cheap carpet & a tiny patch of colour showed through a wall). The landlord wanted an extra 165 on top of this for the above, plus tiny marks which didn't exist (no wear and tear allowed). DPS awarded the landlords 10 with the remaining 155 having just been returned to me 3 months later.
The landlords have a number of properties with Zed Lettings so something to be aware of when renting any properties through them as there is no support to their tenants in deposit disputes despite Zed Lettings admitting that 200 was not appropriate.

I'm pretty sure you do. I know you dealt with my girlfriend more than me but I had dealings with you. Here is why I'm giving 2 stars. the 2 stars rather than 1 is due to your staff members prompt response via email in applying for a property. On advising you guys that our credit wasn't great we was told by your agent that " we don't go on credit, we go on if can get a guarantor " to which we had.
Low and behold we got declined due to "affordability" yet when we spoke with the landlord it was a case we "didn't pass the checks the agency carried out " Wish I had checked the reviews on here before we filled out that hideous application form to which someone needs to check as the spelling is shocking.

I saw a property 9 days ago and emailed this lot via Zoopla where the property was advertised (Kilnhurst Road, Rawmarsh) and this lot never bothered replying back and I want to know why. I wanted to look around said property tomorrow Saturday 23rd January; but due to Zed the landlord has lost a very potential tenant who would have taken said property.
If I was a landlord dealing with this company I would personally not deal with them and go else where - more professionally run company. Just received reply back from this lot stating that they rang me and left voice mail; rather funny to leave a voice mail when I do not have voice mail set up on mobile. Telling lies - not very good for a letting agency - wonder how many other lies have been told to all of you using this company. Certainly stay away from ZED LETTINGS not to be trusted.

THIS lettings agency have been absolutely fantastic since they took over my landlords properties. The repairs have been done, the owner Debbie has been to see me to do a visit when they took over management to see what needed doing and they set up the Deposit Protection Scheme the same day that I paid my bond. The ladies that work in the shop are always very nice as are the repairs people.

Well what can i say Simple just avoid at all cost if you a tenant you are allowed to run up massive rent arrears and leave your repairs fall on deaf ears and god help any landlord as they gladly will try and take your tenants off you to fill other landlords properties once you leave them joke of a company avoid at all cost
