This is our inclusive Service, which can be briefly summarised as follows: appraisal and marketing of the property; conducting viewings, resulting in the introduction and vetting of a suitable tenant; preparation of the tenancy agreement and inventory; checking in the tenant against the inventory, and; registering the tenancy deposit.
During the tenancy we carry out periodic inspection visits. Should these bring to light any maintenance issues, we will (within the confines of our Management Agreement) arrange or recommend any necessary repairs.
Collecting and processing of rental payments is also an important part of our Full Management Service. Rental balances will be credited automatically to the Landlord’s nominated bank account.
Towards the end of tenancy's fixed term we liaise with the Tenant, with a view to either renewing the tenancy agreement, or arranging their departure and re-advertising the property to let.
This Service is particularly suited to Landlords who are not residing locally, or would rather not deal with the Tenants directly, preferring all aspects to be handled by an Agent.

Report
Our Letting Only Services includes marketing of the property and carrying out viewings, leading to the introduction and vetting of a prospective Tenant. This proving satisfactory, we then go ahead and prepare the tenancy agreement, and if required an inventory.
Following this, the first month’s rent and usually a tenancy deposit is collected and credited to the Landlord less our agreed fee. Managing the tenancy, including the maintenance and rent collection, will then be the responsibility of the Landlord.

An excellent company! Well run and professional. It was very difficult for me to make the decision to trust anybody with my house when I moved overseas but I'm glad I picked Maison Lettings. I have been renting my property in the Liverpool area for about 10 years and have used 4 or 5 agents in that time. I came across Maison last year after it was recommended by a friend and gave them a call, I spoke to Tom and he gave me some great advice about the new landlord licensing scheme for properties in the area. Everything was explained by Tom who gave me no doubts about renting my property with them.
The service so far has been by far the best, and I can honestly say if you are renting property in Liverpool my first recommendation would be Maison - for the first time I can confidently say I plan to use this agency for many years to come! Regards, Mike

No idea why Tom has any negative reviews, can only assume it's from problem tenants whose standards aren't as high. Far better dealing with maison than a high st agency as you get more of a personal service and quicker response. When the fridge freezer broke down it was replaced within 24hrs. A new burglar alarm was also fitted when the old one couldn't be fixed. Would highly recommend

Steer clear! This agency is all about the landlords. Doesnt care less about tenants. Insults his tenants then gets upset when you stand your ground. Respond to your reply as I can't reply to your absolute lies; Toms response just shows what a poor agency he has. If you class scratches (from the numerous times that the front was dug up for gas works and the water turned off) on the bottom of the toilet as dirt then you need your eyes testing.
Aggressive and threatening? He's a grown man or at least claims to be. We paid 5 years of full rent (in excess of 40K) without a missed payment and cleaned top to bottom when we left. However Tom won't give a reference for that because he felt 'intimidated' by his ex tenants who at the last minute got annoyed with him trying to charge an excessive amount to clean scratches off the bottom of the toilet, retaining it from the deposit.
Maybe we should mention the fact that the boiler broke numerous times and we had no hot water for days sometimes with four children. Also the fact that a whole kitchen cupboard fell off the wall on top of a family member. Thankfully it wasn't a child as it would have killed them. Or the garden fences that needed replacing for months and in the end we had to do it ourselves as our children could access the main road. Months of asking and they gave half of the amount of money in the end.
Won't authorise even the most important jobs without going through the landlord (who happened to take about 5 holidays a year). They are an awful agency and I will stand by that. But really, if you have money to burn by means of your deposit and don't want anything fixing without back and forth emails for weeks then go ahead, otherwise, avoid, avoid avoid!

This agency is for stupid people with money! From start to finish you will be treated like you are nothing short of a problem to them rather than a potential business. From the way you get spoken on the phone to the way they deal with any of your enquires, it is absolutely appalling. On the other note, If anything gets damaged, DO NOT expect it to be fixed or replaced anytime soon.
They will take MONTHS and MONTHS to do anything, anything what so ever. Save yourself the "Am I gonna get my deposit back" stress and go somewhere else, because you are very likely to lose every penny, and lucky if won't get asked to pay more! Don't let it be too late. Avoid at any cost.

Maison Lettings and Property Management Liverpool
Having met with a number of letting agents in Liverpool, we decided to opt for Maison Lettings. Tom was professional, not pushy and offered a more personal yet expert service (without a set up fee). My apartment was rented last weekend and Tom took care of all the requisite work to satisfy landlord regulations making it easy for me.
He put in a shift to ensure everything was set up properly. I couldn't be happier with the service he's provided from the start and I'm confident should any problems arise that he'll rectify them as cost effectively as possible and to the satisfaction of both parties. Fully agree with the previous review, we felt reassured from the first meeting.

Aftrer finding that the lettingagent I used in Liverpool was shocking I came across Tom from Maison Lettings. From the moment he took control of my Liverpool properties I have had nothing but great service and and proper professional service.
