Aside from the lack of cleaning when I arrived in the 'professionally cleaned' room (I let it slide as I cleaned it myself) my 6 month tenancy was great until I decided to leave. I left the room cleaner than when I found it but was still somehow charged 50 out of my deposit for not cleaning the room (might I add that another tenant leant our only hoover to a neighbour on my move out date, so it was agreed with Vivien herself that I wouldn't pay cleaning charges) to top it all off I was refunded an entire months rent that I paid early as I moved out EXACTLY a month before my end date back in August, to which I received an email 3 months later stating that this was an error and I now owe 70 with no reason or cost breakdown.
After questioning this I got a response saying that they were wrong and I owe nothing, I then hear back from them after a month saying I still owe 42 as they miscalculated. Anyway Long story short DONT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH NEW LEAF

I had been struggling to find a tenant in a property I own in Sheffield for a couple of months, even though it was being advertised by two local agencies. The property is a smallish three bedroom semi, but well decorated, and I could not understand why it would not let.

We had been renting and have gone through 2 properties in 18 months and we needed some stability for our daughter. I am writing to thank you and Sarah for your help in progressing the lease option on our house in Brixham, South Devon. After months of shilly-shallying with other agents (and eighteen months of no sensible offers when the house was advertised on a straight sale basis) things really took off when we put finding a tenant buyer in your hands. The new tenant buyers are delighted that they have the opportunity to get back on the housing ladder and we of course are pleased that a house which was costing money is now producing an income and we know exactly how much we will receive when the option to purchase is exercised.

My wife and I needed to sell our shared ownership house asap in late 2010. Our previous buyers had pulled out and we were due to move into our rental property in December. After trying and failing to sell through the shared ownership websites, we asked New Leaf Homes to Market our house. The house sold within a week!
