Property manager Asim has been prompt and effective at resolving any issues that have arisen. Good quality service and pain free to get things done.

My whole experience with HOP has been completely unprofessional. Upon moving in I was disgusted to discover that my room hadn't been cleaned since the previous tenant moved out (which was several months prior) and was not fit to be lived in. On top of this there were several health and safety/fire hazards that needed to be resolved, some of which were only seen to by HOP once I had informed them that I would be contacting the council if they didn't see to the issues.

The property has had multiple issues in the past few months, many of which have not been resolved despite being reported via HOPs repair request form and the ones that have often required several phone calls to HOP to ensure that our repair requests had even been seen. The incompetence of this company has lead to issues such as recieving emails informing me that I have to move out on certain dates, which after a brief read of my contract I was able to inform them that this was incorrect. HOP don't seem to understand the responsibility they have as property managers and the effect that their poor standards have on their tennants wellbeing and quality of living.

Jon at Hop, was incredibly helpful throughout the purchase of our first property, acting as an intermediary between ourselves and our solicitors and the Vendors and their solicitors. He was very efficient and kept us informed throughout, which increased as we approached completion. The whole process went very smoothly and Jon played apart in this. The staff are responsive and efficient. The engineer Pat who repair the blocked drainage in garden within 2 minutes which demonstrate his professionism. While Shauna, one of the property manager is responsive and her action is prompt when it comes to solving the problems. While I appreciate the new system of report a repair which can show the contractor details (if any)directly and the interface is user friendly. Keep it up.

This review is a reflection of Tom Wild. After a nightmare 18 months in an address that was handed over to HOP, Tom has been a true professional. He is punctual, does what he says he will and is most importantly honest. Without Tom this past year, life would have been alot harder for me & he has helped to ease alot of rental related issues that would not be expected of a letting agent.

The term "went above & beyond" is thrown around too much these days, but Tom did. He is a credit to this company & others in the HOP office need to look to Tom & take a few notes of how he operates. Top bloke, cheers Tom! Would also like to mention Cris (GM) who is also a top bloke & helped me when I needed clarification on a few things. I have 3 properties managed by HOP and as I live overseas it can be very challenging to manage issues with repairs etc. Luke Parkin at HOP has gone above and beyond when disaster recently struck one of my rental properties in Leeds, making it uninhabitable. He has liaised with various agencies on my behalf and made it possible to get a solution and get my property back on the market! Thanks Luke!

This agency is horrendous! Our fridge has not been working for the last 4 weeks and it has been reported MULTIPLE times they have made promises to fix it but have not. This is on a backdrop of constant delays to having issues fixed! No hot water for weeks on end. Absolutely disgraceful! Avoid as a tenant. Awful Awful Awful!

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Michaela regarding tenancy documents, she has been extremely responsive in correspondence with emails and and has ensured that all of my requests have been dealt with in both efficient and effective time. She went above and beyond in ensuring that if I have any further issues moving forwards to contact her. I have dealt with previous letting agencies before but she provided the best service and has left me and my co tenants extremely happy and relieved of a lot of stress! Thank you

We use them for years to let our rental properties. this time we purchased a rental property with the help of Neil and Rich - everything went quick and smooth. Can't fault them. Our main contact Anna is also someone we have worked with now for years and trust her opinion and views.

Was overtaken yesterday evening very dangerously by one of the staff in their company car. Not happy.

My friend stayed in one of there properties in a house share in Headingley, 14 Langdale Terrance LS6 3DY, where on March 13th 2021, my friend was verbally harassed / hate crime due to the nature of her work as a dancer and cam model in the adult industry, where she had to move out and this effected her financially and her mental health along with the pandemic, as two of her housemates / neighbors verbally harassed her / shared her leaked cam content, which got shared around, and played out loud which is still ongoing now, this has been logged down to the police as a Hate Crime and at the time Hop Letting Agency couldn't find her another houseshare to stay in in Headingley / Leeds itself and also kept her deposit of 200 as she moved out earlier due to being harrased by her housemates even though she told them what was going on.

Very responsive over the phone and message. Friendly and polite, didn't rush us when looking at houses. Would recommend to a friend

My boyfriend and I have been looking for an apartment for a while now, Kyle from HOP went above and beyond to help us get the exact property we wanted.

Currently renting a house from HOP. We moved in on the 1st July and reported various things wrong with the property. These still have not been corrected and we currently have an illegal light fitting over the shower which HOP said they would fix 2 months ago! Our emails are usually ignored, for example we had no hot water for 5 days as no one was replying to us. For any first years trying to find a suitable letting agency, HOP are not recommended by my housemates.

HOP are the letting agents for the house next door to me. The tenants are absolute nightmares with serious noise until 06.30 in the morning from constant parties, clouds of cannabis smoke drifting over and they have completely covered the side of the garage in graffiti. Despite several calls to HOP absolutely nothing has changed despite always being reassured they will take action. I think it's now time to take the problem to the council and have HOPs license to Let reviewed.

I let my property with HOP (formerly Let Leeds) since 2009 and would recommend them to anyone looking to let property in Leeds. I have just sold the property through their amazing sales team, headed up by Lucy and have been incredibly impressed with the support I have received every step of the way. Lucy goes above and beyond to keep things running smoothly.

Living overseas could have made keeping in contact challenging but thanks to Lucy I was kept informed with everything I needed to know at each stage of the process. Highly recommend their exceptional service.

I have been dealing with Josh for several months prior to switching from our current agency to HOP. In stark contrast to my experience with the former managing agent, Josh has demonstrated a high level of professionalism, keeping me informed of all critical issues and taking pro-active steps as necessary. I am delighted with his performance to date and look forward to this level of professionalism continuing. Unfortunately, in the property managing market, this level of professionalism is often promised but seldom delivered. In Josh and HOP I appear to have found the one that delivers!
