Not professional. WEnt for a viewing little late and found noene there. Despite I srnt them an email before the appointment saying I'll be 30 min lates. When i called them, she just told mr our agent has even left the appart before the appointment.

I rented from A Flat In Town from February 2020 to July 2020 for work. They were fantastic letting agents and were always helpful whenever any issues came up, and replied quickly to emails. The staff are attentive, understanding and friendly. The deposit was returned very quickly and all documentation (EPC certificates, inventory etc) was sent promptly both at move in and move out dates.

In particular the cleaning list was very well detailed which was good so both parties know what is required upon leaving a flat. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and quality of accomodation and I would rent from them again!

Melanie Campbell was our tenant manager and she was great throughout. We always had our concerns listened to and taken care of and when one thing didn't get solved in a timely manner she personally came over and took care of it herself! We highly recommend, certainly one of our best experiences!

Fantastic experience. Myself and my flatmate were in desperate need of a short-term let and found Lance to be quick to respond, very helpful, and overall solved our situation with apparent ease, but importantly he maintained communication along the way and never left us hanging like some other letting agencies. The flat itself was clean, modern, great central location, and overall met all our expectations. Would highly recommend Lance and A Flat In Town.

Rented from this company for a month. They were very professional and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure everything was as it should be. Would definitely recommend them and will definitely use them again.

For the month of May 2019 we let a flat on Rose Street in Edinburgh. We were delighted with the flat: it was charming and its location was perfect. Many of the major attractions of the city---the Royal Mile, Princes Street Gardens, art galleries--- along with restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and public transportation were within an easy walk.

The size of the flat was just right and we found it clean and well maintained, with all the amenities we needed to make the stay pleasant. We live in the United States and had never stayed abroad for a month. As we arranged to let the flat, the staff at A Flat in Town was consistently helpful and accommodating, patiently answering questions. When we arrived there were a few minor hiccups (connecting to WiFi, having lightbulbs replaced) that Lance quickly corrected. We rate our experience with A Flat in Town a 5 out of 5 stars and have told family and friends about their wonderful service. We would definitely use their services again.

Have been applying for a flat through this agent (fingers crossed), and throughout the process they have been speedy repliers and my point of contact Louise has gone above and beyond her call of duty when chasing up references on my behalf. Hopefully we get the flat and these good folks will be my letting agents for years to come :D

A Flat in Town is the best letting agency we have ever used. The staff were prompt, effective and friendly. The home they provided was very well maintained, thanks to them. Of course, there were a few issues but nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend them.

Would recommend careful consideration before letting your property with this business: became apparent after a number of years letting my property with them that they had become very complacent ( unable to follow up outstanding issues etc and unable to provide breakdown of costs for work they had provided quote for). Level of rental income they obtained was also substantially below what new leasing agent obtained/ general market when o carried out further research myself. Overall, would avoid.

A Flat in Town were extremely helpful and so very kind to us. We were moving from London to Edinburgh, and they made it that much more an easier transition. Special thank you to Nicola from the team who has been looking after us. Would highly recommend.

I had an excellent experience with this agency. I was looking for a short term let as I was coming to Edinburgh as a student for a semester abroad. The flat was exactly as they had advertised it and everything from communication, signing the letting agreement and staying at the flat was great! Having rented from a flat in town for over 2 years I can honestly say they have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. All the staff are extremely helpful professional and friendly. They are without doubt the best landlords I have ever had. If you get the chance to rent from this company then grab it with both hands!

We were one of the first Owners to join A Flat in Town when Katrina and Susanna set up their new venture 2005. Nothing was, and is too much trouble for their team. Their team are charming, and efficient, as are the Contractors they provide for plumbing/electrical and joinery work. We have been delighted with their service since inception. We had a New Town flat for 12 years until Jan of this year and it was always let in our period of ownership with delightful tenants.

Our cottage nearby has also been let continuously since we purchased in Jan 2008. I have recommended them to two friends who let their flats via their agency and they have been delighted with the service provided.

We rented a flat for 3 months this year and we were absolutely over the moon with the property and also the team at A Flat in Town. They were very attentive and responded very quickly to anything we asked about. I highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

We rented out our flat with A Flat in Town for 10 years. They were first class in every respect. They found good tenants for us. Anytime we needed to make any repairs, AFIT found good tradesmen quickly at a competitive price. They kept our tenants happy, they took our mind completely off renting the property, whch, for a landlord is the main point of any rental agency. They look after both tenants and landlords equally well. I know all our tenants found AFIT very easy to deal with. I can highly recommend A Flat in Town.

We had a fabulous experience with A Flat in Town from beginning to end. We rented a lovely 1 bedroom in central Edinburgh for 8 months and they were to great to deal with from the application stage, as landlords and then on departure as well. Lucy is always so friendly and warm in communication (which really makes a difference as it’s definitely not always the case). I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to rent a flat in Edinburgh and we’d definitely use them again.
