I've never had any problems with this agency, would had stayed with them longer but landlord wanted to move back in, no fault to the agents they were very sympathetic, jade made our two years a delight, easy to communicate with, sorted out any property issues we had asap and and advise us anything we weren't sure about and Louise the kind polite step in for jade.both are a great team. recommended

Cannot recommend renting from this agent. Often took a while to address any issues, left me with a dangerous boiler for years which they just ignored. Then tried to charge me for everything and anything when I moved out, including the replacement of 14 year old carpets which were meant to be replaced 2 years prior. Also charged hundreds for cracked fridge crisper, and even tried to charge me for a stain on some blinds which I purchased and left at the flat. Took literally a week to respond to any emails too. Avoid this firm if you can

We went to all agencies in MK to find a flat. 99% of them were tragic! The only agency that proved to be competent in any field was Total Lettings. Louise Freitas was at the height of the task and thanks to her we now live in a wonderful flat and enjoy our life in Milton Keynes. Thank you Louise for your help. All the best.

This agency is utterly useless, and the most ridiculous lettings agency we have ever dealt with. We reported numerous issues at every 3 month inspection, which were ignored each time (but they tried to get us to pay for once we moved out) When the contract was up, they tried to claim practically the entire deposit, with the most outrageous markups.

For example, one of the drawers in the fridge was cracked slightly, and they quoted us 180 to replace it (a quick search on amazon showed a replacement for 11) and when we contested it, they said that 120 was for " contractor call-out and fitting costs" IT'S A BLOODY CRISPER DRAWER, WHAT DO YOU NEED TO FIT? You can buy a brand new Beko fridge from Argos for 160.

Other things like the lawn was 1 inch too long, so they needed to pay 200 for a professional gardener to cut it. Again, a decent lawnmower costs less than this. There were numerous other insane requests, these were the most ludicrous, I hope this gives you some indication to the audacity and cheek that these people have. Make your decisions accordingly.

The most unprofessional agency on the market! I do not recommend anyone working with TotalLettings, especially Jade Arnold, who is the most unpleasant, unprofessional person in the agency. If you report to this agency and your case is dealt with by Jade Louis Arnold, I advise you to stay in touch with an attorney because you may be deceived

Recently completed a 6 month tenancy in a one bed house whilst completing a job in Milton Keynes. The process of moving in, maintenance, communication and moving out has been brilliant. I've been very appreciative of Jade who managed the property. Documentation was clear, as was the deposit process and any other matters which arose. If you are looking for a property to rent in Milton Keynes I can happily recommend them.

Avoid renting from this agent. Repairs take forever to be done when reported if at all they get done. After almost 3 years of living in the property and when we moved out this agent tried to claim all of our deposit plus more money for things they know they should not be claiming for. How can you claim money to renovate a property that was not renovated for years before we moved in? Went through the deposit dispute resolution service and thankfully they awarded most of our deposit back.

If you decide to rent a property with them, make sure you keep evidence of everything, take your own photos of check in and check out because they will try to make a claim on everything even down to an ice tray. such an unprofessional agency.

Had my property inspection this week, carried out by Jade. I can honestly say, it was like having a friend visit. Haven't enjoyed this experience as much with previous rental companies and waved her off like I'd known her for years.

The worse company ever do not rent or buy from them, customers service absolutely a joke especially from Jade Arnold she is the most rude person ever she have no patience, i been renting house from this company over 5 years all they looking for to get money and no service at all, for over 4 years i been asking for some repair to be done in the house abut they keep ignoring and they been entering the house without my permission few times happened i'm at home and seeng the guy from the agency in front of me in the living room without ringing the bill, all the kitchen tills are broken, patio door, kitchen wood frame out side but they say this not urgent the landlord waiting when i move out then he carry out the work, i been asking for reference they charged me 75+VAT.

Few days ago they sent me a letter asking for rent increase when i called and to say i'm not paying the extra till the repair be done they threatening to kick me out from the house, I' taking my legal actions agents the agency and the landlord

Over a number of years of using this company, I have found them to be professional, prompt, conscientious and good value. I do not recognise the comments in the negative reviews, which may be more to do with individual tenancy issues, I have always found this company very positive to deal with. Happy to highly recommend them.

Guys, if you are planning to buy or renting a property from Total Letting agency, please be careful. This agency is worst agency, i ever had. I was on rented property in Milton Keynes. First of all, agency is not at all professional. It has lot of hidden charges like check out fee of 120 and even they charge you for small maintenance things which is required for the property.

In the past, I had rented the property from agency like Cauldwell, Stratford letting and had very good experience and they were quite professional. Firstly, they digested all my deposit of 830 by charging me incorrectly and said everything is settled now. Later, i realized that I had paid extra rent of 5 days and asked for the refund. They asked me for proof and i had given them the proof. But, again, they, come back and asked for some arrears as i asked my extra 5 days paid rent. Don't buy or rent your property with such worst and Fraud agency. Be aware of property manager like Jade in Milton Keynes as she is quite unprofessional and rude

Don't believe all the good reviews you see here. When I started my contract with Total Lettings they actively asked me for a good review on Google which I declined, I believe reviews must be made at the end of a relationship, not at the beginning. Boy, was I right. Everything was fine during my tenancy agreement. My problems started when I left the property.

Despite inserting in the End of tenancy report that the place was left cleaned to a professional standard they charged me almost 200 pounds for a cleaning fee. Not happy with that they invented that a light bulb was missing which was not. Not happy with that they said that I had to pay for a problem that I had reported, and they should have fixed during the rental agreement.

Want to talk to them by email? Its fine if you can wait 1 week for every reply. This agency has no respect for others people time or money. They will just bleed you for all they can and hold your deposit hostage, AVOID IF YOU CAN. I WOULD GIVE MINUS FIVE STARS IF I COULD.

Would not recommend. Few things to be careful of is fees, which we all forget about throughout the Tenancy and the rush to get into a property, they are not very clear but it cost us around 120 to check out which is disgusting considering what they have to do their end. The final thing is the deposit and the length of time it took, without a claim it should be instant, but the landlord and the agency took a very long time to sort it out.

This should have been released a lot quicker, overall the deposit has taken over 2 weeks to come back to me even though they stated that there was nothing wrong with the property just a delay in the landlord coming back. A lot of delays in coming back to me via email and trying to get through on the phone is difficult. Thanks Total Lettings but would definitely recommend renting through a landlord not an agency, save money, time and delays.

I let a property with this firm and received very poor customer service. Whilst the property itself was very nice, when things went wrong like the locks on the door failing or the gas cutting itself off I found that my phone calls for help and advice were often ignored. When I moved in there were a few windows that wouldn't open more than a cm. This was pointed out upon checking into the house however it was a year before the windows were fixed.

Surely this a huge health and safety issue and is negligent on their part. When the front door lock went we were left for days with an un-secure door. Our shower screen leaked causing damp to form on the ceiling of the room below. It took 4 months for this to be rectified. It seems the only time they seem to want to contact you is when they are trying to get extra money out of you.

I found this happened at check out when they tried to over charge for small actions that they claimed needed to be taken. I would never use them again and recommend that others avoid them too.
