Where to start. First property we went to rent through them paid deposit, signed contracts, 4 days before move date told property was no longer available to rent. We rented another property with them as stuck, now handed in months notice to find out its not a month apparently its up to 2 months. They ask tenants to do viewings for them and send contractors onto property without telling you.
I found them wholly unprofessional and unreasonable. Not just to tenants but to landlords, my landlord will now loose out on the new rent rate for the property and also I as a landlord would be unhappy about my tenants doing viewings. I would not purchase or rent as a buyer, seller or tenant / landlord as I don't trust them, they just seem lazy and also they do not act in the clients best interests.

DO NOT TRUST JIGSAW Rented a house through them for the last 4 years. The office is completely disorganised when it comes to inspections, maintenance. If you want to be able to trust your estate agent - they have allowed a third party contractor entry to my home when we weren't in, despite me waiting for them all day Tuesday and they never turned up. Jigsaw Move Estate Agents's excuse is that "the contractor said they had permission to enter" despite no permission being given.
They will let some random contractor in for a non-emergency reason just because they lied and said they were allowed in. Our cat managed to escape because of this. My partner works nights sometimes and she could have been in bed sleeping when some random man unlocked the door and came in. We have valuables and private documents around. They are completely unapologetic, don't really seem fussed about it either. Completely unorganised and mismanaged place. This is after us being trouble-free tenants for 4+ years. Do not trust this company.

I have several properties with Jigsaw Letting, using their very competitively priced fully managed service and have no complaints. I called in to enquire and I was told to register on line. I was kept outside on the narrow street which was quiet busy. The staff were very unwelcoming, unhelpful, ignorant, held a negative attitude and acute lack of interest. Anyone who would like assistance or advice about renting a property I would recommend Reeds Rain or Ashtons as their advisers really know how to deal with the public.

Lie through their teeth about properties being available. Such rude staff that basically make you sound like your bothering them. Best part is they then asked if there where any other properties I was interested in.why would i waste my time when you clearly can't run a business. Also heard from a mortgage advisor that the company have been nothing but trouble for one of her landlords who she works with so that says alot about the company. All in all avoid this place. Waste of time and money.

Stay clear! Worst lettings agency i have ever rented with! Firstly, when applying for the property with a lady called Alix, there was minimal customer service, no smiles! I was told that i couldn't complete my application form in the Jigsaw office, even though it was empty and raining outside! I was then told i couldn't use my bank statement as proof of address, strange!
To then be told, she wanted a holding fee in cash, so i then had to treck back out in the rain to get this! However, she is very young, so may not be as experienced! Girls, are lazy and don't care and take a ridiculous amount of time to contact you back! They need ALOT of training, on how to speak to and treat customers! Shameful.

I am so upset with the way Jigsaw have treated my daughter, partner and myself with trying to rent a property. As I know there has to be checks for all tenants (I own a property that I have a tenant in myself) but the hoops you have to jump through with this company is ridiculous. With my daughter being under 25 I paid to be her guarantor to have all relevant checks for me along with the checks on them both as tenants which was fine.
I even had to prove I didn't have a mortgage on my home and show them the deeds to my house! We also offered to pay 6-12 months rent up front with her being this age and her wage not covering the threshold and her partner being self employed. Even with these offered and excellent references from previous landlords and his accountant they have been refused.
They say it was down to the landlord, his choice (which we met) and he said no. As a landlord myself with the offer of 12 months rent upfront and excellent references from previous landlords and accountant and knowing where their family home is and with a gaurantor who rents houses out and is mortgage free with a full time job I would be highly delighted. It makes me wonder how these people without jobs rent houses! We have been made to feel like criminals. We wouldn't hand over 300 if we thought we would be rejected.

I am 100% satisfied with the level of service that Jigsaw have provided to me. They have dealt with my recent house sale as swiftly as possible and have always been available via email and telephone when there has been an issue that needed dealing with quickly. I would thoroughly recommend them for property lettings and management as well as sales. The staff are always polite, courteous and efficient and keep you informed of progress.

My first time renting a home and the staff at Jigsaw were more than helpful especially since I'm only 19 and it was quite a nerve racking experience. All the staff I spoke to were lovely, especially Alix Simpkin she was always so welcoming and extremely helpful even via email. Jigsaw are easy to contact, focused on customer care and highly recommended by myself and many other people I have spoken to.

We were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of Jigsaw from the first visit to list our property right through to the conclusion of our sale and also our subsequent purchase of a property also through jigsaw. Every member of staff we dealt with were extremely helpful from start to finish and kept us up to date with all necessary details. I have nothing but praise for every aspect of Jigsaw's services. As someone new to the lettings experience, I was a little bit nervous about what to expect - but all the staff at Jigsaw have been amazing: well-informed, polite, efficient, reliable and very reassuring at every step of the way. I was also very impressed with how hard all of the staff work: no detail was left to chance and no question or problem I posed too much trouble to follow up and sort out. The team work and communication is clearly excellent and I felt valued as a customer at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend Jigsaw in the future.

I have let out a property with Jigsaw for approximately 5 years, they found me an excellent tenant immediately and have looked after my interests very professionally ever since. My property is very old and there have been some very challenging problems that Eleanor Welbourn has managed to resolve very quickly and expertly. Its a pity that none of my other let properties are in the area because I would not hesitate in moving them all to Jigsaw Letting as I find them to be a first class management company who offer excellent value for money and take all the hassle out of dealing direct with a tenant. When looking for a friendly, helpful and experienced estate agent to assist with letting my parents property out in York so that they can move down South to be with us and the children, we found all that we needed and far more from Jigsaw! As my parents are both retired moving for the first time for 45 years it was always going to be a huge task and us being 6 hours away from them, we needed an estate agent we could trust that was friendly and would explain all the 'scary' legal blurb etc to them to make the whole process as simple as possible so that they would know there property was safe in someones hands.
