Our apartment is in Liverpool's historic Georgian Quarter. Only a stones throw from the vibrant heart of the city. The location is ideal for visiting the main tourist attractions and its location is opposite the famous Anglican Cathedral and walk down the hill to the popular Baltic Market, M&S Arena and Albert Dock.
Early Surrender of the AST at Tenant's Request - Should a tenant need to surrender the tenancy early and the Landlord agrees to re-let the property, the liability for the payment of rent will end once a new tenant is found and takes up occupation. Once you've found the property, a member of our team will have done their checks to confirm you're a reliable tenant, your deposit will be lodged in an approved tenancy deposit scheme. This will ensure that your deposit remains secure during your tenancy period, and you'll be made aware of where it is held.
Liverpool Alive will register tenant's deposits with MyDeposits and account for these at the end of the tenancy in accordance with the rules of the Deposit Scheme. All rents collected promptly from tenants and accounted for direct to the landlord's bank account via BACS and a statement will be emailed or posted to the landlord.

Spent 2 years in a property managed by Liverpool Alive and never had an issue. Professional, quick at responding to queries. Recently I have dealt with Christie quite a bit and he's been lovely, professional and accomodating. Need to mention Lindsey too as she's been a start in previous times. Thank you all

This is the worst estate agents I’ve ever used. Lindsay is a joke of an agent and I would avoid this ‘estate agents’ at all costs.
I’ll break down in detail my experience with this company so you can see how Inept they are. I moved into a property that this company let. Whoever did the checkout and cleaning of the place is blind. The dining table had 4 broken chairs.
The walls had mould all over them in bedroom, living room and bathroom and the property stank of damp. How this was missed at checkout was beyond me.
Thankfully we were going on holiday immediately after moving in so Liverpool alive could arrange a proper deep clean of the house. Although they didn’t put any light bulbs in so we had to use our own (although I’m sure they charged previous tenants for missing light bulbs)
After living in the apartment for several months my partner woke up to a burglar in our bedroom.
I was working away at the time so she had to deal with this by herself which was horrifying for her. For months she was having panic attacks living in the flat and she couldn’t sleep without me being there, which was difficult as I managed restaurants so would be away or coming back late quite a lot. I asked this joke of an estate agent to find something else for us as my partner was suffering horrendously with the ordeal of what had happen.
The response from Lindsay was disgusting.
Firstly she didn’t even acknowledge the fact that my GF had just gone through the ordeal of fighting an intruder out of her bedroom. Secondly and the most disgusting part for me - Lindsays response to me asking if they had any other apartments we could move into so that my gf can sleep normally without breaking down every day - “we will have to charge you for the contract in this apartment and you will lose your deposit if you leave earlier”
I was genuinely gobsmacked by this!
Not at any point did lindsay even acknowledge my partners mental health throughout this. No attempt for resolution. No empathy towards her customers situation or mental health! Just pay up your contract and go or tough shit!! The final insult came when we did leave. Now remember how we had no light bulbs when moving in…. They only tried to charge me for missing light bulbs at check out!!
Even though there were more light bulbs in the property than when I moved in they still wanted to charge me for the ones that were never there in the first place!! This company are a disgrace!! Avoid stall costs! Do not ever do business with them!! They are a shambles!!

We have used Liverpool Alive (formerly Cuddly Bears) for many years now, as we live at the other end of the country so not able to manage our properties personally. We have always found Lindsey to be quick, competent and very responsive to any communication, as well as friendly and helpful. Liverpool Alive have found us numerous tenants over the years, with extremely short void times between outgoing and new incoming tenants. We would absolutely recommend them.

PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING! I am only 20 years old yet I know this service is laughing in the face of customers. It can't be a coincidence that all the good reviews all come across as written by the same person. I haven't heard a word from LINDSEY about my deposit 2 weeks after moving out, regardless how the apartment was left. I should at least be written a simple email to why I should or shouldn't receive my deposit back after being a customer of over two years.
But then as soon as someone leaves a review (which I have been looking at constantly during my tenure) an instant reply pops up backing themselves up with complete nonsense, nothing objective or related to the actual review but giving their back story on how they have been successful in the past. In the past they were called Cuddly Bears which I'm sure you've heard lovely reviews about, which is why they shut down and changed names. Paying good money for a service that doesn't exist is not fun - so do yourself a favour - and rent somewhere else.
I will say that the maintenance staff were very kind - not effeicient - but kind. That can't possibly be all you want from a landlord. I have taken the time to write such a lengthy review and go into detail because I feel my money never reached anywhere near the value it should've. I left feeling cheated of something I gave so much to and it seems to be the trend of REAL reviews written to this agency. Business should be done right, please do something about it.

Have used Liverpool Alive, previously Cuddly Bears, service since acquiring a rental property in Liverpool in 2016. I have always found them to be professional, helpful and effective in managing our tenancies. Recent fee increase was quite steep but I would recommend them for consideration to any landlord looking for a managing agent.
