I had rented a two bedroom house through Forrest Property Services and in summary they are the worst agent and incredibly greedy - avoid them at all cost. Take pictures before and after and dispute all charges. Do note that our landlord owns forrest property services and explains their actions. We couldn't move into the property in the morning of our tenancy start date as "the current tenants are moving out in the morning of the same day and if the property will require any works they will not be finished until 5.00 pm." The agent/landlord had overlapped our tenancy dates - incredibly irresponsible.
At the end of the initial 6 month tenancy, they decided to increase our rent by a massive 7.5% - incredibly greedy and was lucky to negotiate this down to half. At the end of our tenancy, we had to go through Deposit Protection Service to get our deposit back from the landlord. He wanted to deduct 415 to "cut back all trees and bushes and to dispose of all garden waste".
This was rubbish as the condition of the garden was left at its original state. The agent was incredibly unhelpful during communications, they ignored my email for 2 weeks, ignored my phone calls and ignored my questioning to explain the deductions. In the end, I had to submit a legal statutory declaration form to get my deposit back. The landlord ignored and did not respond to the statutory declaration and I was able to receive my deposit back after 14 days. It took us a total of 2 months to get our deposit back - avoid!

Forest Property Services was fantastic in helping me get my flat. Both Maura and Gintare were on hand every step of the way in getting me a flat that I am happy with. They were both knowledgeable about the rental market and available to answer questions I had. I will be recommending FPS because I had outstanding service from all the team.

I've rented an one bedroom flat for over 2 years, couldn't be happier with their service. I've always received a quick, professional and friendly approach whenever I needed any help. I reported an issue with my shower and within the week they changed the tap to a whole new one. I remember when I first moved in I didn't have any of those blue bags for the rubbish and they went out of their way to drop me some from their own house.
Another episode where they really shown how much they care for their residents was when the central heating broke down in the whole building, within a couple of days they brought every resident an electrical radiator. Small gestures that made the difference. Highly recommend

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value The worst agency as I know! There is no contact with them by e-mail or by phone. I can't ask for anything. I live here for 15 months and so far I can't settle in. At the beginning the lady was very nice. I wonder if only I am treated like that by this agency.

I like the smaller more familiar approach from this agency, as opposed to the corporate style used by the bigger well known agencies. We're left in peace with no intrusive constant checks that we have to pay for, this makes the renting feel more secure. My rent is a very good price, we have lots of parking and a big garden we can all use, there's support to keep it nice. My boiler was replaced extremely quickly as soon as a possible fault was identified, before winter set in. It's a good flat.
